What the gurus are saying

This lip oil earns consistent praise for how thoroughly it hydrates lips without drying them out further, a problem people have struggled with from other lip products. The formula is lightweight yet deeply moisturizing, and works well both as a nighttime treatment and during the day. The main catch is the scent, a lemon cello fragrance that one reviewer disliked strongly enough to mention it as the sole drawback, though she repurchased it anyway because the hydration won her over.

"This is the lip oil, the new night lip oil by City Beauty. It just hydrates my lips like nobody's business. I have one by my bed and I also have one downstairs to put a very light layer before I walk out the door. I top it over my lipsticks. I've also been using the City Beauty lip oil over my upper lip in my evening skincare routine to hydrate the upper lip area and soften those lip lines. I've been using this like crazy."

"I've also been trying a new product by City Beauty, this is their night lip oil, and I've been actually using a little bit of it during the daytime too. You could put it on your lips, you can put it over the top lip and sleep in it like an occlusive sleep mask, which is really nice. That's the way I have been using it. The Colorado weather is so dry and it does devastation to your lips, so I definitely exfoliate my lips when I do my facial exfoliation."

"This is so good. [...] I used this whole thing up, and I actually repurchased it myself, which I got on Amazon. [...] I usually use this at night like it says. [...] It'll be the last step of my nighttime skincare routine. I put it all over my lips and it's just so good. It's very [...] lightweight but super hydrating. The only thing is I hate the scent. [...] It smells like lemon cello and I hate that, I hate it so much. But I really like the formula."
