What the gurus are saying

Experts split on this face sunscreen: some praised its silky, hydrating formula with a sheer tint that evens skin tone, while others experienced burning eye irritation within minutes. As a body sunscreen it excels, with fast-drying properties and water resistance that make it ideal for sweaty outdoor activity. If you have sensitive eyes, patch testing would be wise.

"This is a great broad spectrum for face sunscreen that I think you know it may be worthwhile switching to in the summertime, but this is really lovely because it's lightweight, elegant, and has a sheer tint that helps to even out skin tone. It is also non-comedogenic and fragrance-free as well as water resistant up to 80 minutes."

"Coppertone came out with Invisible Finish Face in their Every Tone line. So I tried the body one on my face and man did it burn my eyes. I wonder if the facial formula, which is water resistant for 40 minutes, is better for around the eyes than the body one was, because the body one was one of those where it ends up making you have blurry vision, watery eyes, burny eyes. You know what I'm talking about if you've ever experienced that, it's quite quite horrific."

"I tried this last year, the Coppertone Every Tone, great sunscreen for the body but it does cause the burny eyes. However, it looks like this year they've come out with Invisible Finish for the face, hopefully this one will not cause blurry vision and burning runny eyes. I was hoping that this meant it was tinted but it's not."

"I really wanted to love this Coppertone Every Tone. Unfortunately for me on the face, while I liked the way it looked, it burned my eyes fairly quickly after applying it, within a few minutes. [...] So it's a no-go for the face, but I really like the consistency, it's very fast absorbing and non-greasy. I'm thinking it's going to be a great option for the summer as a body sunscreen, it's water resistant."
*NEW* DRUGSTORE SUNSCREENS YOU NEED TO TRY 😱 @DrDrayzday
"It's not the most moisturizing sunscreen, however if you're someone who has oily acne prone skin I think you would enjoy this for the body. It [...] has SD alcohol which makes it [...] fast absorbing and quick dry, good for sweating outdoors. It [...] has sodium ascorbyl phosphate, a stable form of vitamin C that shows promise [...] for acne prone skin. It's [...] fragrance free but it does have kind of an odd chemical odor, [...] and that's [...] not my favorite sunscreen smell."
