What the gurus are saying

This product is actually a massage oil, not a serum, with no ingredients designed to address facial asymmetry, relying only on massage motion. Reviewers question the $140 price for an expensive massage oil that is fragrance-heavy and lacks an active ingredient to justify the cost.

"This is the Dermalogica Neuro Touch Symmetry Serum, and I do think it's the most overpriced product in this video. [...] The thing about it is that it's not really a serum, it's actually a facial massage oil. There is nothing in it that is designed to target asymmetry in your face."

Asymmetrical Face Treatment, Whipped Cream Cleanser, & More …but are these new? (8/25)
"This is a massage oil. They are marketing you a hundred and thirty eight dollar squalane and jojoba oil massage oil, that's why they're saying things like it supports the skin mind connection. Do you need to drop a hundred and thirty eight dollars for that? Absolutely not, you can just buy squalane oil. Is this really new? No, massaging is old, it's just new to market a product this way, and what they're selling you back is your own fingerprint."

"At $138 for the Dermalogica NeuroTouch Symmetry Serum, which is a botanical-based serum to give skin a more sculpted appearance. The ingredients in it look terrible. There's lots of fragrance, no hero ingredient. [...] The main ingredients are haba oil, [squalane], coconut extract, coriander seed oil, lavender oil, geranium oil, sage oil, astaxanthin, citronellal, geraniol, and limonene. I don't get it. I don't know [...] how they're getting $140 for that."
