What the gurus are saying

This mist delivers hydration, but gurus split on whether it's worth the investment. One finds it genuinely soothing and refreshing, while others note it's lighter than the name suggests and lacks standout benefits, those with dry or mature skin may want a richer cream mist instead for better moisture and barrier support. Not many gurus have weighed in yet, so there's limited perspective so far.

"I've got a Dr. Althea cream face spray. It's such a nice, hydrating spray."

"I just got the Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream Mist and I really do like it. It has a wonderful nozzle and a wonderful fine spray. The only thing I don't like is that you do have to make sure you shake it. It feels a little bit lighter than the Estura mist. I'm torn between the two but both feel amazing to me right now."

"The Dr. Althea mist is called a cream mist, but it's actually pretty light. It works for most skin types, but there's nothing special about it, and it's not something I'd recommend. If you have dry or mature skin, go with an extra cream mist instead, since the formula is closer to your skin's natural lipids and gives a better protective layer."

"Because of how it's being delivered to the skin because of this packaging, I just think that it actually pulls the product back from being effective in any way that you might want to use it. It's really not my favorite. [...] Maybe if you are very oily, acne prone, you might like how light this feels on your skin, but at that point, you don't really need a cream mist. You don't really need a moisturizing layer inside of a mist. You just need a hydrating mist. I'm just not a fan of this one."

"It is so thin. It's not adding a lot. It's just kind of sitting on top of my skin. It's a little greasy, but yet it's not moisturizing. It's not really hydrating. [...] I used that in place of my other creamy toner or essence and it just did not hold up for my skin. [...] It just did not provide the moisture that I expect from cream mists, cream toners, cream essences, whatever. Even lighter ones."

"This is a good mist. This is something I'm personally not going to repurchase. If I do need to get something super hydrating, I think I'm going to go back to my Cosrx ceramide mist. [...] Overall, these are good products, but these are not musthaves."
