What the gurus are saying

This delivers visible results within minutes and offers red light benefits specifically for the lips and vertical wrinkles around the mouth, which is genuinely useful for anyone whose eyes are too sensitive for full-face LED masks. However, it's inconvenient and sometimes painful to use, the battery drains quickly, durability is a concern (one broke after regular use), and at $150 the payoff may not justify the cost or hassle compared to cheaper full-face alternatives that cover the same area.

"Dr. Dennis Gross also has one for $148, an LED specifically made for the lips. [...] The reality is, the juice is worth the squeeze only if you squeeze every day. You're going to have to use these very consistently, every single day, very long-term in order to see any sort of results."

"One of them broke completely. When I actually take it off, I do see results literally from 3 minutes before to when I stopped using it. The problem is I don't think it's worth that kind of money. [...] I used this for 9 months and [...] I would have expected to see better results for $150. At this point, I'm [...] going to use LED face masks that cover the lip area instead."

Stop Wasting Your Money On Red LED Light Therapy...
"This is the LED lip mask from Dr. Dennis Gross. When you're using this, this only targets a very specific area. Even when you're using this and you're rubbing it all over your face, most LED products literally state on the package that you need to use them for 10, 15, or 20 minutes in order to see results. If you're actively moving a wand like this across the skin, you're not getting 15 to 20 minutes on every single spot on your face."
Finally Addressing Why My Hair Fell Out While Doing My Skincare Routine For The First Time In Months
"I have tried this, this is a Dr. Dennis Gross lip mask. I'm going to give you a full review on what this is and if it works because I've been using it. [...] This is LED, like red LED, which can boost collagen and help with inflammation. But literally it's red LED that this has as well as low-level laser therapy."

"I started using this lip device this year by Dr. Dennis Gross, red light, three minutes a day. So you can use this to get red light benefit of your lips and around your mouth where you get those vertical wrinkles. Because this spares the lips right, so then this hits the lips. I am all about red light. These are two devices that I really love I think are worth it."

Plump Lips WITHOUT Lip Filler?! | My Before + After Results
"This one is three minutes a night, three minutes a day. I use mine at night. I think just be consistent with this. I'm committing myself to use this through the end of the year to see what I think of it long term, but I think it's a really cool product."

"I also just saw that Dr. Dennis Gross launched one that just goes around the lips and I think if you're already using a face mask there's really no need for this but I do have this cohort of patients and followers who have messaged me over time being like hey I'd really love to use red light LED but my eyes are a bit too sensitive for it and so I feel like if you're trying to improve the skin around your mouth and you can't tolerate a full mask this lip product really does have a place."
