"I don't like the balm that they sometimes bundle with the lip peel. I don't think it's a very good Lip Balm, quite honestly. [...] There's some ingredients in it that actually make my lips feel irritated and kind of numb. [...] There's peppermint oil in it and some fragrant compounds. I was actually surprised that a dermatologist branded line would use ingredients like that in a lip product, especially considering we're putting it over an AHA that opens up the lips for more absorption. I do get eczema, often around my lips, and I can't do those types of ingredients. [...] They make my lips feel really weird and numb."

"The Dr. Idriss lip balm, the lip balm that goes with the lip peel, is lovely. I'm giving it a four out of five. It's a nice hydrating lip balm and it lasts. It doesn't have the scent that this one has, but it also isn't quite as thick and long lasting."
