Major Fade Active Seal Moisturizer.

"It's called the Active Seal. This is a moisturizer, which is really interesting because I really enjoyed it. The texture is lovely, and what I really liked is it simplified my routine. Combining a moisturizer with vitamin C just makes so much sense because I was able to use less product. I was able to eliminate a serum from my routine. This is absolutely a product I would buy again, just not right now because I have so many other moisturizers that are open and ready for use, and I have tons of vitamin C products that are open and ready for use."

"The Dr. Idriss Major Fade Active Seal surprised me. I really liked the texture and the efficiency. It's a moisturizer and a vitamin C in one step, and that makes such good sense. "Dr. Idriss Major Fade Active Seal Moisturizer is my favorite. [...] It has tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, which is not the active form of vitamin C, and it comes in a gel moisturizer, so you can use this twice a day, in the morning and [...] at night with a retinol, and not be afraid of irritating your skin. I get 24 hours of vitamin C on my skin, in the morning and at night, to help with the look of any sort of brown spots, discoloration, hyperpigmentation. It's glycerin based. "Now I have the pleasure of using a lab sample that just came to me today. [...] Normally it's half a pump to the face, that is all you need. The reason I love my Active Seal by Dr. Idriss is because it has vitamin C, not the L-ascorbic acid form of vitamin C, because that you probably would not want to use with the copper peptides from the Allies of Skin. It has the tetra form of vitamin C, also known as tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, which you can easily use with copper peptides because it does not get oxidized the same way that L-ascorbic acid does, and it can easily be used with peptides. My motto in life is consistency over intensity. I'd much rather you use something slowly, longer term, and incorporate that ingredient over time so that your skin can benefit from it long term without blowing your face up in the process, getting irritated, inflaming your skin barrier, and not being able to tolerate the ingredient."

"The Active Seal Moisturizer is a moisturizer where you're sealing it all in, and it has vitamin C, so if I'm using the Active Seal I will not use a vitamin C serum because it has enough vitamin C in the moisturizer, which gives me more room for exploration with other serums that can work with vitamin C. [...] If you're using a moisturizer with actives, make sure you're not double dipping with the serum game and the actives in your moisturizer."

"This is where I like to incorporate vitamin C, because you get the two in one. It minimizes the step of having to invest in a simple vitamin C serum, but you can also use a vitamin C while hydrating your skin in the process.
