What the gurus are saying

Experts split on whether PDRN truly drives benefits, with questions raised about whether other ingredients are the actual drivers and ethical concerns about the salmon byproduct source; the lightweight gel-cream texture and hydration philosophy, however, have nonetheless earned recognition for feeling like genuine pleasure to use rather than medical repair. Those who've tested it during severe skin distress found it valuable for recovery and barrier support.

"My results from this comparison were fine, but I still find myself questioning whether the results are really because of the PDRN or if I'm just seeing the benefits of niacinamide and panthenol and other ingredients in the product. The PDRN itself didn't feel like it was doing anything particularly special, and beyond that, I've decided to quit PDRN again because of the ethical concerns with the salmon byproduct used in products like this."

"It won't get rid of fine lines and wrinkles, but it makes existing ones look better. [...] I've been using it for about a year and it makes my skin look rejuvenated, healthy, youthful, bouncy, and glowy in a subtle way. [...] If you're looking for glass skin, [...] this will get you there, because [...] glass skin is about the quality of your skin underneath the shine."

"It also contains hydrated collagen. Collagen in a cream is not going to just build collagen in your face, [...] but what it can absolutely do is help your skin hold on to moisture, which is temporarily going to plump your skin and help those dehydration lines, giving your skin a smoother, healthier, glowier appearance. This cream itself has shown a 45% improvement in your skin barrier strength after just a single application."

"I've been using this on and off for about a year now, and [...] there are two brands I use when my skin is really truly destroyed, and this is one of them. I love that it doesn't feel like a pharmaceutical fixing cream - it feels like a pleasure to use. It has an elegant gel-cream texture that's lightweight but moisturizing enough, [...] and represents that Korean skincare approach of well-aging through hydration and barrier support."
