"Estee Lauder Double Wear was so impressive, this reformulated version is amazing. It's like a holy grail for people with oily skin, it's super long lasting, and it's still the number one foundation in Korean duty free. I wasn't a fan of the original Double Wear because the color wasn't flattering for Korean skin tones, but this reformulated version is a good choice if you're dry, mature skin and over forty, or if you want a matte foundation for summer. It applies so lightweight, it sets on the skin like a light foundation with setting powder on top, and it barely oxidizes, I love that. But even though I did all my skin prep, right after applying it my pores looked so much worse, I've never seen my pores look that big, it felt like a thick, old fashioned foundation that shows every pore up close. Even so, this is my pick along with Dior matte, the staying power is unreal."

"This foundation has a solid shade range for deeper skin with good undertone options. The coverage is full and it truly lasts all day without breaking down or oxidizing. It handles hyperpigmentation really well and doesn't budge through heat or humidity. The formula is buildable without getting cakey. It does have a more matte finish, so if you want something ultra dewy, this isn't it. But for long lasting, reliable coverage, this delivers."

"There's Double Wear from Estee Lauder. Back when I used to be a MAC girl, I worked for MAC for years, and a lot of my buddies wore Estee Lauder Double Wear over MAC foundation. It's definitely an amazing foundation. I never found a shade that worked well for me, so I kind of just let it go, I never got into it, but I appreciate that it's a great formula, that it really is incredibly long wearing, it's full coverage, it looks flawless, all those things, so I appreciate it but I never really got hardcore into it personally. I still recommend it to people. When somebody tells me they don't like the skin tints, they don't like all these new things everybody's talking about from Sephora, it doesn't work for them, and they tell me they just want a classic foundation, I'm like, you know what, you need Double Wear. It checks all the boxes of what a person looking for a good foundation would need. If they're looking for full coverage that's going to last all day, give you full coverage, not going to look cakey, going to look like a skin finish, and lots of shade range, they had one of the best shade ranges available. Not going to be over luminizing, not going to be overly matte, it's a satin finish. It's a good classic foundation."
