What the gurus are saying

This eye cream earns praise for lasting power and visible results on fine lines when used in the evening, with fans noting it outperforms the original formula. However, one expert found it lacks the potent anti-aging ingredients she typically seeks in eye treatments, so anyone hunting for heavy-duty wrinkle-fighting may want to check the ingredient list first.

"Urea is a very barrier restorative hydrating type of ingredient. But I did knock one star off of it because there's not really anything really compelling in the anti-aging department. That's really something that I look for in my eye creams. I want to make sure that I'm stimulating the collagen, getting all those peptides that target fine lines and wrinkles to keep that skin firm and smooth, and so I feel like this formula sort of lacked that."

"If you're prone to those, use this on an evening and honestly it'll just help eradicate the ones you have and prevent them reoccurring. It's got a very gentle exfoliator in here which helps, and also over time it will help minimize any discoloration that you have in the under eye area and give some great anti-aging benefit too. My eyes are pretty puffy at the moment and I have a lot of discoloration due to allergies, so this definitely is helping."

"I also think it works slightly better too, which is great. I like it when brands listen to feedback and try to make their products as user friendly as possible. This is definitely a step in the right direction. I would still keep it in the fridge to extend that shelf life and to get that ultimate cooling. But where I think this has a real place in people's skincare routine is if you have milia, you know those little white dots that we can get under the eye."
