What the gurus are saying

This gel cream earns praise for its cooling sensation and lightweight finish that works across all skin types without leaving a white cast or stinging. The formula can help soothe irritated skin and reduce inflammation, making it a good fit for sensitive or reactive complexions. One note: the brand's fragrances can be inconsistent, so those sensitive to scent may want to patch-test first.

"Keep that in mind. It's 12 bucks. It's got Centella, tea tree extract, broccoli, cabbage. It does have a light scent. I didn't find the scent to be overwhelming, but if you're sensitive to essential oils or bergamot oil, keep that in mind. I really like this brand. They're really affordable. However, some of their products when it comes to fragrance can be hit or miss. Keep that in mind. Otherwise, it's a good option for oilier skin or acne-prone skin."

"It's very cooling too. As soon as it hits my skin it has a nice cooling sensation. So if you have irritated skin, if you have some dry skin this winter, fall, with the heaters on drawing out all the moisture from your face, this feels like it was in the fridge, but really it was at room temperature and I put it on my hand and that cooling gel was just a nice experience. I like that it doesn't make your face too shiny. So if you have oily skin, great for oily skin, very lightweight."
