What the gurus are saying

This liquid sunscreen pours like a toner but delivers SPF 50+ PA++++ with advanced filters, and reviewers praise its breathable, non-greasy feel, solving the problem for those who hate heavy sunscreen. The catch is it's designed for casual-UV days, not sports or intense sun. Gurus use it when UV is lower and they're mostly indoors; those new to it may want to measure about a half teaspoon per application.

"This is essentially a spray sunscreen deconstructed, and it absolutely does work as a sunscreen. The biggest catch is figuring out how much to use since you can't do the two finger method, so I measured it out with a half teaspoon. I have got to tell you all, I really, really like this. The finish looks a little dewy but it settles, and it has less of that heavy glow that a lot of K beauty sunscreens have. It's very easy to apply once you figure out how much you need, though I'm still in that learning curve phase and I'm not sure my application was as even as it could be. I like it so much that I'm going to stick with it, and it's also huge, four fluid ounces. I don't intend to carry this with me to reapply though, it's too bulky."

"This is a sunscreen packaged like a toner, watery and pourable, offering SPF 50 plus PA++++ protection using new generation chemical filters. It goes on in the same step as sunscreen, [...] on top of moisturizer, not before serums. Even though it's water, it actually clings to the skin nicely and coats it in a layer of protection, applying like a very thin, watery sunscreen without feeling greasy or oppressive, letting your skin breathe. It's also really great for makeup application. I use this specifically for casual sun exposure when I know [...] the UV is lower and I'm not going to be outside that long, not for [...] high UV situations, sports, or sweating. [...] This just feels so much better on the skin, so much more breathable, so much lighter, and it solves the problem of not wanting to wear a heavier sunscreen on those low key days."

"This is really designed to solve a problem for folks who don't like to wear sunscreen, and for that I think it's a great product. It's not going to be your workhorse, the one that does everything for you. It's not water resistant, it's not for sweat, it's not for the beach. But it can be incredibly beneficial for folks who are just trying to get on the sunscreen train to begin with."

"I was impressed with the filters they used. They used octalock octisalate, enzylzol, uvinul A plus, tinasorb S, mexoryl SX. It's fragrance-free. [...] It's 18 bucks. The second I saw it, I'm like, I have to try this."
