It contains blue hyaluronic acid and blue hyaluronic acid is new hyaluronic acid essentially made by Lancôme and it's much much smaller in size compared to traditional hyaluronic acid which basically means that you can get deeper into your skin offer more hydrating plumping benefits. But this is a really nice cream, not heavy, very hydrating. I actually have been loving this."

"This is a light cream but it's got different blends of hyaluronic acid. It's creamy nourishing but to me does not feel very heavy, and I love the fact that it absorbs very quickly and leaves really minimal residue. "The problem with hyaluronic acid is that it's a really big molecule, and even though it's great at absorbing water, if it's in skin care the traditional way it doesn't really get absorbed past the stratum corneum, so it just sits on top and so it's less effective at keeping your skin overall hydrated or definitely cannot add to that plumping effect. With blue hyaluronic acid, it's supposedly even smaller, so it's better able to penetrate the skin. I am a big fan of their cream."
