"Doesn't work for everyone, but really addresses acne, all stages, all circumstances quite well. It's going to be benzoyl peroxide and adapalene together as over-the-counter treatments. This is some of the most effective that you have available in your arsenal. Not the only. And these together may not be right for everyone, maybe too drying, too irritating, but mild to moderate acne in many cases can be managed effectively with just topicals you can get over the counter, and these are robust. This is 10% strength benzoyl peroxide, which tends to be more drying and irritating in comparison to lower percentage strengths. Still can be drying and irritating but as effective. And using these together, it kind of hits different angles of acne pathogenesis. You can use the benzoyl peroxide actually in the morning and at night and then put the adapalene, which is stable in the presence of benzoyl peroxide, on at night. That combination is really tight for controlling acne. The downside of benzoyl peroxide is that it bleaches fabrics, so using a wash form is an alternative, less likely to bleach stuff when you just use it in the shower and then rinse it off the skin."

"Might I suggest Neutrogena Stubborn Acne AM Treatment. It's a 2.5% micronized benzoyl peroxide leave-on product. Benzoyl peroxide historically is very drying, very irritating. Micronized benzoyl peroxide, the benzoyl peroxide is in smaller particles, so it spreads more evenly on the skin and gets into the pore more efficiently, less likely to become irritating, as opposed to non-micronized formulas where you can get some clumping together in hot spots. This particular product is free of fragrance, it's actually a pretty moisturizing base, so it helps reduce the dryness and irritation that can come about with benzoyl peroxide. I have videos on this channel showing how exactly to use this, so definitely check it out. It's best to use benzoyl peroxide to the entire face, sparing around the eyes and around the mouth, those are sensitive areas, but otherwise using it to the entire face helps cut down on future breakouts as well as clears up existing breakouts. But this product is also good as an acne spot treatment, if you have one pimple this will help it go away a lot faster. A word of warning though, this will bleach fabrics, so get dressed before you put it on, and at night time you want to be careful that you don't get this on your pillowcase."

"Maybe you prefer to use benzoyl peroxide in your skincare routine not in a wash form but rather as a leave-on form, in which case I suggest considering Neutrogena's Stubborn Acne AM Treatment. This is a 2.5% micronized benzoyl peroxide leave-on treatment in a moisturizing base. 2.5% is a very effective concentration, much less irritating in comparison to higher percentage strengths, can be very well tolerated, and allows for that active drug, by virtue of the micronized formulation, to efficiently localize down in the pore to go to work tackling that pesky acne-causing bacterium. This particular treatment can be used as a spot treatment, say you get a pimple all of a sudden and you're like, oh my gosh, what can I put on this to make it go away fast. You could use a leave-on benzoyl peroxide as a spot treatment, but if you're somebody who really deals with acne and you want something that will not only clear up your breakouts but prevent you from getting them moving forward, this treatment works best if used to the entire face, sparing of course your eyelids, because it's too drying. A word of warning about benzoyl peroxide, whether it be this or the Neutrogena Stubborn Acne AM Treatment, is that it can be drying and irritating, so you'll need to put a moisturizer on to combat that."
