What the gurus are saying

This toner delivers visible plumping and brightening that experts keep coming back to. The blend of vitamin C derivatives (ethyl ascorbic acid and ascorbic acid), glutathione, and peptides like Matrixyl works together to hydrate, firm the skin, and fade acne marks and unevenness. Reviewers note it has a subtle glow to it, which works especially well for drier or dehydrated skin, and at this price point it's a solid value for the ingredient lineup.

"It's a really nice toner with a moderate texture, not too liquidy and not too runny, with a little bit of thickness that makes it nice to pat into your skin, maybe in your evening routine. It has sea buckthorn water, which is great for brightening skin, ethyl ascorbic acid, glutathione, ascorbic acid, arbutin, and Japanese gold thread, all great antioxidants and brightening ingredients. This whole lineup from Numbuzin is pretty wonderful. If you haven't tried it, it's worth checking out."

"Butylene glycol is pretty high up there and it's a pretty sticky ingredient, that's probably why it's so tacky. I'd love to use this more during the daytime, maybe during the winter when my skin gets drier it'll soak it up a little bit better, but for right now I think it's a bit too much for the summer. It does end up feeling kind of heavy on your skin."

"But nothing wrong with throwing it in there and leaving it in there since it's got some brightening ingredients. Arbutin is in there, glutathione is another good one. It feels very nice, very happy with it. Yeah, feels nice, so far so good. And I think it did a pretty good job removing my leftover oil and skin care products."

"Then we've got glutathione, which is a great brightening ingredient. [...] And then we've got the argireline peptide Botox in a bottle peptide, the Matrixyl 3000 peptide duo, and then Matrixyl in of itself. I will say on the toner side it's on the glowy side. It does give skin a little bit of a glow. So if you want to pat it on or use a cotton pad, you can certainly use that. But it does give skin a little bit of a glow, which is nice for drier, dehydrated skin."

"This one's really nice for brightening up skin. It has niacinamide, ethyl ascorbic acid, ascorbic acid, and arbutin, known for its brightening effects, sea buckthorn water also known for its brightening benefits for skin, and glutathione. You can apply it with a cotton pad or just pat it onto your skin. It's wonderful, super affordable, and generally you can't go wrong with Numbuzin, they have some of the most unique and affordable products out there."

"This is the number five vitamin boosting essential toner. This is a hydrating toner. It definitely hydrates and plumps up the skin. It has a little bit of a thicker texture than the number one toner does, but it has the benefits of an essence. It helps to really brighten up your skin complexion and also helps to address dark marks or hyperpigmentation left over from things like acne or even a dull or uneven skin tone."

    The Best Skincare of 2024!
"It all comes together in a toner that hydrates and plumps your skin. Your skin is going to feel really juicy and very firm and bouncy. But over time as you consistently use this, you're going to notice that there's going to be a perkup in your complexion, particularly for folks who have a little bit of unevenness or dullness to your skin tone. I think you're going to see a lot of benefit from using a product like this."

"It absolutely brightens your skin. [...] In my experience, what it's worked for fading is those marks left over from acne. I get a lot of those and I'm constantly dealing with it, so it really helps to fade those. As far as long-term sun freckles and damage, [...] not quite as meaningful. I would definitely go for some of the more concentrated, targeted treatments [...] for that. But if you're just looking to fade [...] fresh acne marks, this helps that a lot."
Serious Skin Brightening? Numbuzin No 5+ Line Review
"This really [...] lifted everything up in a really nice way. It really evened out the unevenness and patchiness that [...] I had on my skin. It really helped with the hyperpigmentation from some of the inflammatory pimples I had gone through. [...] I just think it brought a really beautiful glow to my skin. I'm also always working on sun damage and there's still those few stubborn spots on my cheeks that I feel like this has helped, though it's way too soon for me to really report on that."

"Numbuzin are a great example of this with this particular range that I love. If you're feeling bougie and extra, you can actually use multiple versions of this in the same routine for maximum benefit. The toner is a great option if you love toner action in your skincare routine, something that's super convenient on the go, or you can use the pads, which you can also use like stick to your face and leave on for 10 minutes as a leave on treatment."

BEST TONER EVER? - Korean Skincare Toner ( TirTir Milk Skin Toner Review )
"The blend of ingredients is divine, same bouncy feel on the skin, and it doesn't leave behind any stickiness or tackiness. I like the fact you've got that glutathione, and whilst I think the Tirtir is going to be like the very best for hydrating the skin, this is a great one for hydrating and also fading hyperpigmentation at the same time. That for me is a winner. Numbuzin knocked it out of the park when it came to this product. I'm giving this a solid 10 out of 10 for sure."
