"I don't recommend SPF 15. It's better to go higher, to 30. Technically, if you applied it to all surfaces at sufficient density, SPF 15 would be adequate, but I wouldn't rely on it for something like a day at the beach, because it's not water resistant and people tend to underapply, so it's probably not going to be enough. Niacinamide is good for redness and dark spots, and a moisture barrier helps with oxidative stress, so I imagine this is a good facial moisturizer for everyday use."

"Based on how people apply sunscreen, they tend to put it on a little too thin, so the final SPF ends up being a lot less. For that reason, a higher SPF like 30 is recommended, but technically 15 should be enough if it's applied correctly. This is also a chemical sunscreen, so it shouldn't leave a white cast.
