What the gurus are saying

This mineral lip SPF leaves a white cast that takes a moment to settle, but once it fades, gurus find it works beautifully over or under lipstick. The rare 5.5% zinc oxide in a tinted formula delivers serious sun protection, and reviewers also praise the non-sticky texture, metal applicator you can wipe clean, and the absence of beeswax.

"I really, really love the One Skin OS-01 Lip SPF Broad Spectrum SPF 15 plus. It's all mineral with 5.5% zinc oxide, which is rare for a [...] tinted lip product, and it also contains six different antioxidants and [...] a few oils, but the balm doesn't feel oily. [...] It has a really nice pinky coral shade that I think [...] would look good on all skin tones, and I wear it a lot on its own or paired with a lip liner."

6 SKINCARE PRODUCTS YOU DIDN'T KNOW YOU NEEDED (I Didn't Expect These to be SO GOOD)
"The product is by OneSkin, the lip shield, which is an SPF 15 plus broad spectrum, all mineral with a zinc oxide of 5.5%. This is a new launch in this shade, which is bare blush. They do have an untinted version as well, but if you're looking for a tinted SPF, this is going to be it. This is absolutely beautiful. I do have this on my lips today."

"During the day, this should probably come as no surprise, it's SPF. I cannot believe I was getting this wrong for so long. Our lips need protection just as much as the rest of our skin. So, I use the OneSkin SPF as well. [...] This product then I just keep reapplying throughout the day. It keeps my lips hydrated and protected. And once the texture is right, they're super soft and they're healthy."

"The lip balm goes on a little bit white, so you'll have to kind of get this to settle in a little bit, but it has SPF in it, which is great. SPF year round is perfect for your lips. [...] This is a nice thick formula. It does take a second because of the white cast. It's a mineral-based lip balm. Does take a half a second for it to kind of get rid of that white cast, but it works beautifully over lipstick and under lipstick. I've used it both ways."

"One Skin, that brand that has made good peptide containing sunscreens, have a lip product out that does not have beeswax. So, that's good. Keep an eye out for that one. I'm really looking forward to trying that one out soon."

"I love the fact that it has zero taste when you put it on. It is a little bit white and pasty, but once you rub it in, that whiteness goes away and it doesn't look like much except for a balm texture. It gives a glossy finish, which is exactly what I like, a clear gloss-like texture. [...] The lip is often neglected, but we see tons of sun damage and skin cancer on the lip."

"I had to double check that I was actually using a lip SPF. There was no taste, no smell, which is honestly a winner and a game changer for me because finally I can have a product that I actually want to and enjoy using. Ingredient wise, this is a pure mineral sunscreen, so really ideal for those just looking for something that's not going to be irritating and just safe to use on everyone. It contains nonnano zinc oxide that offers broadspectrum UVA and UVB protection."
