"Got chamomile, great soothing ingredient. Kiwi extract, antioxidant brightening ingredient. Peach extract, obviously. [...] Mulberry extract, great brightening ingredient. Bamboo, nice soothing and hydrating ingredient. And betaglucan, great soothing antioxidant ingredient. So really wonderful product. I would say it sets to a natural finish. [...] Once it's soaked in, you can't really tell there's anything on there and it layers really nicely under sunscreen."

"I've got the Peach and Lily [...] Glass Skin Water Gel Moisturizer, it's 43 bucks so it's a little pricey but we've got kiwi in here, we've got chamomile, mulberry, licorice root, mushroom, vitamin E, great for dry, oily, and acne prone skin. It gives you a feel, almost more like a serum than a moisturizer, but I think if you have pretty oily or acne prone skin I think you'll appreciate how light it is and how it soaks in pretty quickly and nonsticky. So very nice gel moisturizer product."

"The one that I've been reaching for almost on a daily basis is the Peach and Lily Glass Skin Water Gel Moisturizer. This is a lovely lightweight moisturizer. It has hyaluronic acid, it has chamomile, it has glycerin and kiwi fruit and peach extract, just a nice lightweight beautiful moisturizer. Great for skin barrier, great for hydration."

    What the evidence says.

Independent of what the gurus think, this is what the published research supports about the main active ingredients here.

    Humectants and emollients

Ingredients like these draw water into the surface layers and slow how fast it leaves. The evidence is for comfort, softness and hydration rather than for changing the structure of the skin.

    Vitamin E

Vitamin E is an antioxidant, and it is often in a formula to keep the other ingredients stable rather than as the active itself. It pairs well with vitamin C, though on its own the evidence for visible change is limited.
