What the gurus are saying

Burn scarring is a serious risk with this radiofrequency treatment, something to weigh carefully against the modest tightening of loose neck skin and fat reduction it does deliver. The results, though real, fall considerably short of what a facelift would achieve.

"I had Renuvion done on my stomach, a subdermal radiofrequency treatment combined with cold helium gas that they insert under the skin through an incision and heat from the inside out. I still have a scar from being burned when I tried it. They are getting much better at it now, but I have seen and heard horror stories of people being burned from this treatment, so it is something to be very aware of."

"This is a [...] minimally invasive operation where you make a little incision under the chin and you use a special probe to go underneath the skin to heat up the deeper skin. [...] These are real surgeries that may take half hour to an hour or so and you do get some modest tightening of that skin as well as some reduction of fat. The amount of tightening that you can get with it is definitely not the same as a facelift but it is more than non-invasive treatments like Morpheus."
