What the gurus are saying

The shimmery, glittery bronze glow and stick format earn praise for being gentler around the eyes; water-free sticks don't seep in like liquid sunscreens. The main trade-off is that sticks are prone to skipping areas and under-application, so if you go this route, you'd want to take care with full coverage. If you like the aesthetic and don't mind being deliberate about application, it's a pretty solid deal.

"You're going to get 0.7 ounces of the Glow Stick SPF 50, and that's actually a full size, so you're getting the full size of the glow stick. I like the glow stick because, as the name notes, it's a stick [...] and you can rub it on and get a nice glow anywhere that you want. But again, you've got to put on enough, so with this you're going to have to be really generous with the swipes."

"The Glow Stick didn't burn around my eyes. The finish was okay, a little shiny, and the tint is very shimmery, so it kind of gives you that glittery bronze look, which is okay, you may really like that, but personally for me it just was not my favorite. It's also an organic sunscreen that is not water resistant, it doesn't leave a cast. [...] Sunscreen sticks can be convenient, especially for applying around the eyes since they don't have any water, so they're less likely to seep in your eyes, however sunscreen sticks are very prone to skip areas and under application. If you love the Glow Stick and you like the idea of having this stick on hand, then this is a pretty good deal."
