What the gurus are saying

The cool-shot button earns consistent praise for taming frizz and protecting hair from heat damage. Dermatologists appreciate the range of heat and airstream options at a mid-range price point, though one notes she hasn't tested it frequently enough to rank it among her top picks. A few hair dryers from other brands are in the mix for direct comparison, so the read here is still coming together.

"I use T3 and then I also been loving [...] the ref dryer from Japan which is amazing. Really takes down the frizz level and make your hair so soft and smooth."

"But to me, this is kind of a medium price point as far as hair dryers on the market, and I am pleased with it. It has [...] two different attachments, [...] you can do low, medium, or high heat, and you can do a weaker blow or a more forceful airstream. There is a little button here that switches over to cool, which [...] helps reduce static and [...] the heat damage after you have been applying heat. [...] I have been really happy with this."

"I recently purchased a T3 Hair Dryer and I'm pretty happy with it. It has a cooling setting which I appreciate. I use it about once a week to dry my hair because I don't like using a lot of heat on my hair. It's been very good, though I wouldn't call it a monthly favorite because I haven't used it that many times and I don't really have other hair dryers to compare it to."
