"TIRTIR heard the feedback that the original Milk Skin Toner felt heavy and greasy, so they created this lighter version, aimed at more oily skin types or people who didn't like that greasier feel. They did achieve that in the texture, it's actually quite lovely, very light, quickly sinks into the skin, with just the tiniest kiss of moisture and skin conditioning, reminiscent of rice products since there's a good amount of rice bran creating non greasy moisture. Lightening up the moisture does mean you give up some of that glass skin glow the original had. The formula is nearly identical to the original, with the same star ingredients, but they removed the witch hazel extract and added hinoki cypress extract, while keeping a similar mix of botanical extracts including peppermint and star anise. [...] I was so sure it was the witch hazel causing my irritation with the original, but this light version still irritated my skin, maybe not to the same extent, [...] but noticeably. Sensitivities aside, I do think this texture is appropriate for oily skin types and earns the label of light. [...] I'm giving it a 7.5 out of 10. This is definitely an upgrade, but definitely not one for sensitive folks."

"This was made to be the oily skin version of the TIRTIR Milk Skin Toner, it discloses four percent niacinamide. Like the others, they claim it hydrates and moisturizes, and they say this one provides more balance to the skin. I don't want it to sound like this is strictly for oily skin though, I really think all skin types would like it, it's just that the heavier milk toners might only appeal to people with very dry skin."

TIRTIR is Doing Skincare Differently (1-Month Review)
"The light version of the milk skin toner has a much lighter feel than the original and was made for oily skin types, whereas the original is the heavier, more moisturizing one for dry skin. I'm passing this one along because I think someone with oily skin would love this so much more than I'm capable of appreciating with my skin type."

AD Is This TikTok Viral K-Beauty Brand Worth The Hype? - My TOP TIRTIR Products
"The Milk Skin Toner Light is a hydrating refreshing toner that ticks all those glass skin boxes in the sense that it's going to help soothe your skin, help even out skin tone, brighten the skin tone, help with pore size, help with breakouts, and help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It's still milky, but it's more hydrating. This has a ton of antioxidants in it with centella, camelia, glycerin, peptides, and their Multix Bassam Plus complex, which is a mix of seven plant-based extracts specifically for calming the skin. So this isn't just a light version of the milkier toner, it's kind of a different toner altogether, which is why I like having them both at hand. You get that same milky hydration but they are two very different products. The Milk Skin Toner Light easily effortlessly falls into the top two spots, making it one of my favorite Tirtir products."
