What the gurus are saying

This cream fades hyperpigmentation effectively, but both reviewers found the smell so atrocious it nearly outweighed their appreciation for the results. It's packed with tranexamic acid (doing the heavy lifting), niacinamide and kojic acid. Those put off by the smell may want to try the unscented version Topicals released.

"They have an unscented version now. I have sensitive skin, my nose is sensitive, so I prefer unscented fragrance-free products. This one's 1 oz for 28 bucks. It's got [...] kic acid, tranexamic acid, niacinamide, isoleic acid. It's wonderful for dark spots. So if you haven't tried it, it's worth it. I just hope they come out with the bigger size again. I like the big size."

"I love what this product does for my face but I hate the way it smells. [...] It smells so bad. [...] It smells like rotting food that you left in old tupperware, like the tupperware that the rotting food soaked into with that plasticy little bit gross leftover tupperware smell. When I wear it it makes me smell wretched and therefore I feel like I can't wear it around. [...] I really want to love it and support this because it really does what it says it does, but the smell is atrocious."
