What the gurus are saying

Gurus split on lasting tightening, but all agree you look better the same day, though the effect fades fast. Some find small improvements remain with consistent use several times weekly; others see no evidence of long-term benefit. The most realistic gain is short-term depuffing. One design issue: the device can't reach all facial contours, and the conductive gel tends to get messy.

"I really love Zip for microcurrent, but just keep in mind that any result is temporary and you really have to keep doing it regularly to get that continued lifted, tightened look."

"The Ziip Halo microcurrent device is so fabulous and really snatches the face, and it's a gift you can use for years to come. I personally can't use it right now because I'm breastfeeding and you can't use [...] microcurrent devices, which is a bummer."

"The Ziip is a great at home device for nanocurrent and microcurrent, and it's going to really sculpt the face and make things look incredible. I'm eight months pregnant so I haven't been using mine in a long time and I miss it, the way it sculpts is so great. I have a discount code for it below."

"On one hand, these are safe, relatively painless. You might see some subtle snatch right afterward, but that has nothing really to do with the microcurrent that's being delivered to the muscles and much more to do with just the manual pressure and massage. On [...] the con side, there's really no evidence that they provide a lasting result of any kind, and they're generally quite expensive, usually in the $200 to $500 range. For me, for the lack of evidence that exists, that's not worth it."

"Are microcurrent devices like NuFace or ZIIP that claim to tighten and lift the face a scam? I would not say that these are scams, because when used consistently you can see small bits of tightening and reshaping of the face. However, you need to use them incredibly consistently and continuously to maintain those results. This is always where I talk to my patients about know thyself: if you buy a device, will you actually do it for 15 or 20 minutes every day? Will you keep up with it? How long do you intend to do this? If you're like, yeah, I've got 30 minutes for my routine every night, this is really important to me, I'm going to stick with this, go for it. But I feel like, in terms of all the things that could be helping your skin or getting you the results you want, that's not going to move the needle the same way an in-office treatment would."

"I personally have the ZIIP Halo 2.0. It delivers nano and microcurrent technology to help lift and firm the skin. It's clinically tested to improve the facial contour and muscle tone within four weeks. It will help increase the ATP, which is your cellular energy, by up to 500%, which will further help support collagen synthesis. It also will enhance some lymphatic drainage, reducing puffiness and promoting that sculpted look. You can use it anywhere from four to twelve minutes per day depending on which type of treatment you pick. It comes with an app that you can put on your phone and it really teaches you how to do it, it's pretty easy. I've done several treatments and I really like them all. It works best when used consistently, and by consistently I mean three to five times per week, in addition to your skincare, not on its own. So if you're somebody who already has all the skincare and you're looking for something to add, this might be a good one. But if you're somebody who struggles at finding time to do all these things, starting the at home devices may not be right for you."

"One thing I do do religiously that's not very me is I am devoted to my ZIIP Halo 2.0. I have been doing this for six, six, seven months. I love it. I use it like four times a week, [...] with caveats. I know loads of people work with them, I do not, they have approached me about it and I have said no, and even though I love it so much, the reason I have said no is I don't buy the long-term claims of any nanocurrent electric current device. However, if you want to look better today, you will look better today for the whole day. I can look at pictures and I know if I've done it that day or not. So yes, I absolutely love it. They sent me one, I lost it, I thought I'd left it in a hotel, I bought myself another one, then I found the original like six weeks later, so now I've got two, so I do them simultaneously to save time. [...] I do it before cleansing in the morning, so I do it on a dirty face, [...] not that it's dirty, but because the gel [...] comes off anyway."

"I had the ZIIP. I think I prefer this to the ZIIP, it seems more intuitive. The ZIIP, for me, never quite gelled. But it's you and your preference. Do I think one is technically better than the other? No, I think it's you and your preference."

"Radio frequency devices like the ZIIP Halo 2.0, or things you can do at home, are going to move lymphatic fluid around, so drainage is what you're probably going to see the most from this in the short term. You'll look better in the short term when you use this, but it will probably come back within an hour. So if you do not have the cash to go see a provider, or you like doing things yourself, or you want to do something every day, this is going to be it."

"They did send me the ZIIP Halo. I know everyone's like, oh, is the ZIIP Halo better? It's the same. The difference between the original ZIIP and the ZIIP Halo is that with the original ZIIP you had to download the app in order to use it. With the ZIIP Halo you don't need the app to use it, it has a little light ring around it that tells you when you're making good contact with your skin, but other than that it's the exact same. They didn't increase the strength, they didn't redesign it at all."

"My favorite microcurrent device of all time has been the ZIIP. I've tried other microcurrent devices, but I always come back to it. It contours my face beautifully. I feel like I get that definition I'm looking for in microcurrent. They have so many different programs, and I just find that I reach for the ZIIP Halo, from their very first generation all the way up to the new 2.0, year after year after year."

WORTH IT? My Smart Black Friday Skincare Devices | Makeup Buys
"If you're looking for microcurrent, I cannot recommend the ZIIP Halo 2.0 highly enough. I've tried a lot of microcurrent devices and this is the only one I recommend, for two reasons. Number one, it's basically the last microcurrent device you'll need because it updates automatically via firmware and Bluetooth. They send you the new programs and [...] the updates, so you don't have to buy a new device like with many of the other microcurrent device companies, where every time they come out with a new one you have to buy a new one. It updates automatically, and they've just updated their app with tons of new programs, one especially designed for mature skin."

"The ZIIP Halo 2.0 is the only device that I can actually recommend for microcurrent because I have abandoned all of my other microcurrent devices. I've tried the Foreo, many iterations of the Foreo. I've also tried the NuFace, multiple iterations of the NuFace. Why I say ZIIP is number one: number one, they have nanocurrent, which none of the other devices have. And number two, the app updates your device without you having to purchase the next iteration. It's basically a no-brainer if you're looking for a microcurrent device."
ZIIP Microcurrent: My #1 Pick After 4 Years & 10+ Devices! (Don't Miss This Deal!)
"Microcurrent has earned a permanent place in my mature skincare routine. Even after a facelift, I use it in my weekly skincare routine. It gives my skin a glow, and it also helps with depuffing. I'm going to demonstrate a microcurrent routine using the ZIIP, my favorite device. [...] I'm going to prep my skin today with the silver gel. This is one of my favorite ZIIP gels, and I prefer the ZIIP gels to any other gels that I've tried because they don't dry out. All the other gels that I've tried, and there are some good ones out there, but they tend to dry out and then you have to keep reapplying them. That's why I enjoy the ZIIP gels, because they're thin, they're lightweight, they're easy to spread. You only need three pumps for your whole face. I've got my app loaded, [...] and you'll see that they have new headings. They have anti-aging, skin health, skin prep, and skin problems, so a lot of the programs that you're going to want to look into are under the anti-aging section."

"I know a lot of you purchased the ZIIP over the Cyber Monday Black Friday sale, so I wanted to go through a quick ZIIP routine. It comes ready to roll, a 4 minute routine, which is perfect, that's just the amount of time that I want to spend doing microcurrent in the morning. I start my ZIIP routine with a little bit of mist, just to help prep my skin and give some conductivity because it has a little bit of sea salt in it. Then I'm currently using the ZIIP silver gel, and I find that I need two pumps of this gel, whereas the gold gel I only needed one pump. What I love about the ZIIP gels is you don't need to reapply them, and using a mist helps with the glide, you can get your entire face and neck covered in a couple pumps."
Fuller Lips After 50? I Tested 30+ Glosses & Plumpers (Here’s What Really Works!)
"Your lip care routine surprisingly can start with your microcurrent device. The ZIIP Halo 2.0 has a dedicated routine to get the lips plumped up and ready for lip skincare. It seems hard to believe, but microcurrent for the lip area is very helpful. Penn Smith did a video where she took a specialized camera that shows blood flow, and how much a microcurrent routine can improve blood flow, and increased circulation can improve the look of skin. It's no different with the skin of the lips. After doing your microcurrent routine, your lips will look plumper and they will also be more readily able to absorb the skincare you're going to do next."
4 NEW and Exciting Updates to My Mature Anti- Aging Skincare Routine at 58 years old!
"After cleansing, I come in with my ZIIP Halo 2.0 routine. If you're not familiar with it, it's a micro nanocurrent device. We're usually used to hearing about microcurrent, how it kind of lifts and tones the face, but the ZIIP Halo 2.0 is slightly different because it has nanocurrent. When you're using a microcurrent routine, like the lift program that comes right out of the box, you're getting both microcurrent and nanocurrent. Nanocurrent is that very very low current, the type that mimics the current naturally occurring in our bodies. It's something you can't feel, unlike microcurrent, where you can kind of feel it giving that little tug on your muscles and a tingle. Nanocurrent you're not going to feel. It penetrates deeper into the skin and stimulates the cell to produce ATP, to produce collagen and elastin. I'm currently using the crystal gel, just switched over to this from my silver gel, which finally ran out. This has willow bark and it also has glutathione, which is a peptide and an antioxidant, and it goes great with the nanocurrent routine because it's all about cellular repair overnight."

"I've been using microcurrent three to five days a week, using the ZIIP, and now they came out with the new ZIIP Halo 2.0. I just received the Halo this week, so I've been enjoying trialing that out. I'm going to do a whole review on it, but this is less expensive, delivers the same microcurrent and nanocurrent, and is a little bit lighter weight. It also comes with a serum that's a little less intense than the original ZIIP serum, there are fewer ingredients, it's glycerin based."
Best Skincare Treatments to Transform Mature Skin (Top 3 Devices & Top 3 In-Office Treatments)
"My favorite device is the ZIIP. I honestly think it's a myth that microcurrent doesn't do anything. It will tone your skin, I get a little lift in my brow after using it, I get a little sleekness to my jaw and cheekbone after using it, but I have to be continuous and use it over time. I'm hoping to thwart off that loss of collagen and elastin so that it's better than it would be if I had decided not to use microcurrent. [...] You always ask me if I could only buy one device in the microcurrent category which would it be, I would buy the ZIIP. Here's why. Number one, they improve their technology and new releases without you having to buy a second device, [...] it updates via the app, you don't have to keep buying a new device and getting a new release, so that is one reason this is an economical purchase. Number two, it's very ergonomic. [...] As a retired OT I highly recommend the ZIIP if you have arthritis in your hands, it doesn't take a lot of pressure to hold on to the device, you don't have to do a claw grip like with some other devices, which is a little bit more stressful on my CMC joint, so if you're looking for something that's ergonomic and comfortable to use, you can palm it in your hand and use it so many ways. [...] Another reason I love the ZIIP over some other microcurrent devices is because it has nanocurrent and microcurrent. Microcurrent is going to give you that instant toned look."
RANKING THE 4 BEST MICROCURRENT DEVICES In 2023 for Mature Over50 Skin
"My favorite microcurrent device of all time is the ZIIP. I loved the original and I really enjoy the Halo. The reason I love this the most is it's the most ergonomic, it's the one I reach for time and time again. Their gels are stupendous, my favorite one is the gold gel, it has wonderful skincare ingredients, and the benefit of microcurrent is it will give a slight penetration to the skincare that you're using during your microcurrent session and help it penetrate a bit better. I personally like to gently rinse off my gel after using my microcurrent, but to each his own, that's just my personal preference, but the gels from ZIIP are amazing. [...] This is the one that I reach for the most. Number one, it has the great gels. Number two, out of the box it comes with a 4 minute routine. 4 minutes is the perfect amount of time that I want to spend on a daily basis. It has a beautiful app where you can go in and use these spa-like treatments."

"After I'm finished with my LED, I come in with my ZIIP microcurrent device. [...] Today, I'm on a ZIIP lift routine, so I'll be doing the lift routine after my LED. [...] I like to do my LED red light therapy first and then move on to my microcurrent, that's just the way I like to do it. I feel like the red light therapy treatment kind of wakes me up. They say red light therapy is kind of a sedative and makes you sleepy, but for me it's the complete opposite. So I do my LED first and then I move into microcurrent. [...] Then I'll pop on my gel for my ZIIP. This is the crystal gel that I'm trying, I'm just finishing that up, but my favorite gel is the silver gel, and you can get them in little trial sizes."
FIX MATURE THIN LIPS IN TWO MINUTES | Mature Skin Facial and Minimalist Makeup
"Soft microcurrents boost circulation and mimic lip plumping. We're not actually swelling the lip physically with the current, what we're doing is just increasing circulation to give the lip a fuller look. The all-inclusive routine is a 12-minute routine, medium strong microcurrent so that makes it moderate, and then an energizing nanocurrent, perfect for right before you go out in the evening, kind of gives your face that rejuvenated look."
BEST PRODUCTS FOR YOUR PM SKINCARE ROUTINE OVER 50 | This Routine Takes Your Skin To The Next Level!
"What is it about the ZIIP Halo 2.0 microcurrent device that specifically prepares our skin for sleep, compared to other microcurrent devices? Typically we think of microcurrent as contouring, muscle toning, collagen building, giving that instant subtle lifted look, but ZIIP is different for one specific reason: it comes with nanocurrent. Nanocurrent is one billionth of an ampere, whereas microcurrent is one millionth of an ampere, and the nanocurrent in the ZIIP is around 900 nanoamps. In the founder's favorite routine that we're doing, you're not going to feel it like you will microcurrent. It's very free flowing, there are no patterns necessarily, as long as you keep the globes in contact with the skin, five minutes aside. It's really very open, relaxing, massaging, free flowing. There's no right, there's no wrong. Nanocurrent actually goes deeper than microcurrent, it's more gentle, it works over time. It also increases ATP, collagen, and elastin, but the benefits are cellular repair, cellular metabolism, and health regeneration, which all are features that help prepare our skin for sleep, because as we know, as we're sleeping, our body is resting and repairing, as well as our skin, so it puts it into that rest, repair, health regeneration mode. So this is what makes the ZIIP particularly great for your evening skincare routine, it's the nanocurrent, and it's the only device."

"I'll get into the microcurrent, sliding up and around and orbiting to give a little lift to the brow area. You can see how this microcurrent, even in just a one off session, really helps lift and open and wake up the eye area. I actually have a video on my one year of using it, and the one surprising thing is that it helped [...] with the saggy, bagginess of my eyes."
Thin Deflated LIPS OVER 50? Do This Now!
"This is my Holy Grail microcurrent device. I have tried like five or six, this is the one I'm always reaching for. This has a dedicated program within the app for the lip area, and I was so excited to see that. We're also going to do the lift routine, which is a four minute routine that just works up the face, and it comes pre-programmed right out of the box. I'm going to use my silver gel today, they have amazing gels, and the reason I love the ZIIP gels, even if you have a different microcurrent device I encourage you to try some of their gels, even if it's just the basic gel, because you use so much less, it doesn't dry out during your microcurrent treatment, you put it on and literally it is one and done. I want to show you how I'm going to place the globes to include my upper and lower lip within the lift program, so when I do the stroke along my jawline I'm going to put the globe right under my lip and sweep up, when I do my cheekbone I'm going to put the top globe above my lip and the bottom globe below it and sweep up, so I'm making sure that I'm including the area above my lip and below my lip into my microcurrent routine."
Is Microcurrent in Your Anti-Aging Skincare Routine? Instant Fix + Lasting Benefits for Mature Skin
"If you're interested in microcurrent, the Halo is actually much cheaper than the original ZIIP by about a hundred dollars, and your feedback is what drove the company to change the design of the microcurrent device switching from the original to the ZIIP. It's lighter weight, it's easy to see whether it's on or off, it's usable right out of the box. You don't have to download the app to use it, you can just use it right out of the box, but now you can download the app, and the app is amazing because they have so many different programs. The one that comes out of the box is called Lift, that's what I do almost every single morning. It takes four minutes, it's super easy, it just wakes up my face, increases circulation, drives some of these great skincare ingredients into my skin, so for me it's just part of my morning routine. They recommend you take a day off, so between four and six days a week for microcurrent. Why I like the Halo a little bit more than my Bear is because it doesn't cause that muscle contraction in my face, it's very gentle. It also has the benefit of Nano current."
Best SKINCARE DEVICES for Mature Skin 2024 (I tried Over 20 Devices Over 50!)
"My absolute fave microcurrent-only device [...] is the ZIIP. I have the GX version which first came out, and if you have the GX there is no reason for you to run out and buy the Halo, because this syncs to the app, it updates with all the new features and all the new programs in the app. What they did is they did a complete redesign to make it a little bit [...] more inexpensive and more accessible, but I cannot tell you how much I love this device. You don't have to keep repurchasing different iterations. [...] If there's a change in the technology, [...] they just download the program to your app and you have all the new programs, all the new modalities right there at your fingertips. [...] It's wireless, and I just love the ergonomics of it, it's just easier to hold for longer treatments. I love the fact that it has nanocurrent, which is a waveform that goes a little bit deeper and works over time to build collagen. I love the instant lift that it gives. Is it a face lift? No, none of these are going to lift sagging skin, let's just get that out of the way. It's going to give you a slight tone effect, it's going to help with lymphatic drainage, it's going to give your skin what I call a perk up, and it's going to give your brow area just a little bit of a lift, and it's temporary. Over time I'm hoping that microcurrent can help maintain my collagen and elastin and the health of my skin because it improves circulation, but do I expect this to lift my skin? Absolutely not."
What Your Microcurrent Can Do for Dark Spots (That Nobody Talks About)
"I'm going to be using my ZIIP Halo 2.0 device today. [...] Starting the ZIIP anti-pigmentation program couldn't be easier. It's on my website under the blog section, you print it out and you should have everything you need to get going on your very first day. Day one [...] starts with instant gratification, which is a six minute program and the founder's favorite, and all the routines within the program can be found on the app. [...] Instant gratification is [...] a medium intensity, level three on ZIIP's intensity scale of low, medium, and high. [...] The lift routine that comes with your ZIIP straight out of the box, which you don't need the app for, is a level two. [...] The second program they want you to do on day one is founder's favorite."

"This has been a game changer for me since getting my procedure done. [...] The device uses nanourrents that work with the skin's natural bio electricity to supercharge renewal, collagen production, and barrier strength. It's [...] a free form treatment where you start low and work your way up, carving out and lifting the face. [...] The electric currents feel really good and it works a little bit different than microcurrent. It has multiple preset treatments including lymphatic drainage, clearing skin, collagen renewal tone corrector, and facelift. The app is really cool and makes it simple to use. It's so easy to travel with. If you start your day with the Zip Halo, your face looks more lifted and [...] you can see the results from treatments a lot more. You really have to try it, especially if you are consistent with the device. You'll see such a huge difference with your skin."

How to Make Your Skin Look Lifted and Glowy | Morning Skincare Routine
"I use the ZIIP Halo in the morning time to get a lifted, glowing look to my skin. I'm excited about this because I feel like people really don't take advantage of using their microcurrent, or in this case a microcurrent and nanocurrent device, to give themselves a lifted look. People really save it for their nighttime routine, [...] but this is so simple and easy to use, and I feel like you sometimes get the best benefit when you do it before you're about to start your day. [...] I actually travel around with both my ZIIP Halo and I have this from ZIIP in case I get any zits while I'm on the go. [...] This little bag isn't that big. [...] I've been using [...] the ZIIP Electric Complex Conductive Gel, which is a really lightweight, highly conductive gel for microcurrent and for nano. It doesn't have any other additional benefits, but I feel like it's pretty hydrating for the skin too, and it doesn't feel very heavy. If you do want to get other benefits, they do have other gels you can use, but I just really like traveling with this one. It's really straightforward, and since I have so many other ingredients in my skincare routine, this one works perfectly for me."

"There's a newer one called the ZIIP Halo, I actually got to demo it and learn about it from the founder Melanie Simon. She calls herself an electrical aesthetician, I've always loved that, I feel like she's always been a visionary, she's always been on top of things. [...] The thing I love the most about the ZIIP Halo is what stopped me from using the original ZIIP device was that it felt a little bit complicated, so they took that feedback from apparently a lot of their customers and they decided to remake it and create the Halo. Not only is it smaller and more compact and easier to hold, not that the other one was hard at all to hold, they just updated it a little bit more, and they actually have a treatment that is very straightforward where you can just turn it on, it's four minutes and you just use it on your face really quickly, [...] essentially just like any other microcurrent device. What I love about that is it's caused me to actually now graduate to the other treatments that they have with their app. It feels like I just needed something to kind of get me going and get into the routine, so I love that they've taken that feedback, they've updated it, and now I get to use it. I also really love there's a setting on the ZIIP Halo, while they don't say it specifically because they can't say that they're treating your melasma, there is a setting I think it's called electric tone that actually helps with your melasma, so I've been using that too and I just love that I get all of this in my device. Between all the devices that I use, I really love in the morning if I get a chance I use the ZIIP Halo, and then in the evenings I use my current body LED mask. I would say that combination is probably like the holy grail of the devices for me."

"It feels so good. You know what it feels like? [...] It feels like somebody went under my skin and massaged the muscles underneath my skin, not just on top but underneath it, like my skin feels like it's lifted, my face feels like it's lifted. It's such a crazy feeling. I'm so happy that they updated the ZIIP Halo 2.0 because I had been thinking I really need to go back to the ZIIP device, because it does so much more than a typical microcurrent device. Now I'm even more excited to use it. I feel like what's going to end up happening is I'm going to just do the really easy four minute program to start and just ease my way into it, and then I'm going to really start getting into it again."
My Anti-Aging Morning Skincare Routine + Was Fat Grafting Worth It?

"I start my mornings with the ZIIP Halo 2.0 short 4-minute routine, and that is something that I do year round. But that gets even more important in spring because, due to seasonal allergies and just my skin being off, I'm really, really puffy when I get up, and this extra depuffing effect that you get through these strokes that you do is very welcome. Now you need a conductive gel to use the ZIIP."

Medik8, Geek and Gorgeous, L'Oréal | New in my skincare stash Q2 2026
"I got sent the new version of the Ziip Halo, the Ziip Halo 2.0, and I really don't notice a difference when I use it, so I contacted the manufacturer to ask why they released it. Apparently it has more exact wavelengths and a better delivery system, which is great but not something you'll notice as a consumer. [...] If you already have the Ziip or the Ziip Halo, you don't need to upgrade to the 2.0 unless your device breaks. [...] Great device, I love mine and use it around five times a week."
How to get rid of hyperpigmentation: my updated skincare routine for fall | Doctor Anne
"My mornings start with a quick microcurrent routine. I like the lifting and plumping effect it gives my skin. I don't really see a long-term effect, but it helps me accept that the thing looking at me from the mirror is really myself. I use the ZIIP Halo, but any [...] reputable microcurrent device will do. I just like with this one the short preloaded programs that it contains and that it's easy to grab. It's not too heavy."
3 years of skincare devices: LED, microcurrent and radiofrequency - what I still use | Doctor Anne
"Over time I switched to the ZIIP, first the GX and then the Halo one in early 2024, and that is the one I am still using right now. It comes preloaded with a 4 minute session I enjoy, and I use it on average five times a week. The one I would ditch first is the microcurrent one. I don't feel as if I had long lasting benefits from using it, even though I do appreciate the immediate lift it gives me."
Summer Skincare for Aging Skin: My Low Effort, High Impact Routine | Doctor Anne
"I start with a quick ZIIP Halo program, usually the preloaded 4 minute program called The Lift, sometimes one of the others for good measure. That has an instant sculpting effect on my face I enjoy, though I still don't think there are noticeable long-term effects to using it."
Acne, Allergies and Aging: my Spring Skincare Routine Adjustments | Doctor Anne
"I start the day using my ZIIP Halo, not everyday but usually five times a week, doing the short four minute program combining micro and nano current. The gliding motion helps with lymphatic drainage and is really appreciated to combat the puffiness. There is also a temporary lifting effect I really appreciate as it helps me look more awake."
The Inkey List, Medik8 and BYNACHT: What's New in February? Skincare Stash Update Doctor Anne
"I have been using my ZIIP Halo for about one and a half to two years, and the ZIIP GX before that. After I posted a video of my Sunday evening routine using it, you could see it has been well loved, and that prompted the brand to send me a new one, a brand new Halo that's exactly the same as the one I already use, just looks fresher."
Treating Hyperpigmentation & Acne in Fall: Doctor Anne's Full Morning Skincare Routine
"I use my ZIIP Halo first thing when I wake up, about five times a week. I'm currently doing their Post Summer Skin plan, which is meant to freshen everything up and target hyperpigmentation, but I don't think the ZIIP is very helpful at targeting hyperpigmentation. It's more like an overall lifting."
LED, radio frequency and microcurrent: My 2 year update and ranking | Doctor Anne
"I switched to the ZIIP HALO in early 2024. I start my mornings off with using it, and using it first thing in the mornings gives me an immediate lifting effect, with a variety of programs so I can do a quick 4 minute one when I am pressed for time or a more elaborate ten minute routine, working out to about five times a week. The one I would ditch first is the microcurrent one. I don't feel as if I had long lasting benefits from using it, even though I do appreciate the immediate lift it gives me."
Is the ZIIP Halo better than the ZIIP GX? | Doctors Review
"The ZIIP Halo is the new and improved version that replaced the ZIIP GX and OX. It comes preloaded with the Lift treatment, a short 4 minute freeform routine using both nano and microcurrent that you can access just by turning on the device without needing your phone, which is much more convenient. It's available for 399 euros, around 80 euros less than the GX was, though it now comes with a less expensive Electric Complex Gel instead of the pricier Golden Gel. Side by side, the Halo is lighter, looks more elegant with its rounder shape and silver top layer, and its flatter metal probes feel more comfortable to use. It charges via USB-C, and it keeps running even if you lift it off the skin, unlike the GX. Its treatments feel less intense with fewer tingling sensations thanks to the improved variety of waveforms. Using it about four times a week, she saw the same results as with the GX, [...] an immediate lifting and depuffing effect [...] that doesn't last more than a day, [...] with no visible change in her before and after footage. Still, the Halo [...] is her favorite: [...] lighter, easier to grab, more convenient [...] without needing the phone, and prettier, and she thinks it was a great move to bring out a less expensive gel, making the entry price [...] a little more accessible, even though it's still expensive."

"The results do last for several days, especially when you are really consistent with it at the beginning, and then all you need to do afterwards is just maintenance touch-ups. So I only use it two or three times per week. But when you first start, you may want to do it every day or five times a week just to get the process started. I'm telling you, you see instant results. The results are quite phenomenal, so I really do like using this. This is the silver gel that I'm currently using, [...] but there are other gels to pick from. You need to apply this first onto your skin prior to the microcurrent treatment so that you get that proper microcurrent where everything works and it glides across the skin. [...] I still use it in my morning routine, and I have a 10% off discount code with ZIIP as well."

LUXURY SKINCARE THAT'S ACTUALLY WORTH THE MONEY - MY MOST USED HIGH-END PRODUCTS WITH REAL RESULTS
"Another device that I really love that I feel is worth the investment is [...] the ZIIP Halo 2.0. This works at a muscular level as well as a cellular level. It helps to give that face lift, basically it helps to lift your facial muscles and contour everything the way that you want it to. There's many ways that you can use this. I would actually recommend downloading the free ZIIP Beauty app, there's a lot of step by step tutorials on there, and you can use this at the same time while watching those videos. You can depuff with this, so you can go back and forth underneath the eyes to depuff. You can use this around your mouth and lips to treat lip lines. It's like giving your facial muscles a little workout. It helps to stimulate blood flow and it helps to stimulate those facial muscles, training the muscles to be lifted and contoured. So it's like a little facelift in a device basically. You can lift the brow, you can have that nice snatched cheekbone area as well as the jawline. You want to use this on clean skin, but you have to use this with a conducting gel, which of course ZIIP Beauty has a lot to pick from."
BEST ANTI-AGING EYE PRODUCTS THAT TIGHTEN, LIFT, REDUCE PUFFINESS, DARK CIRCLES AND MORE!
"This is the ZIIP Halo microcurrent device. I have talked about this a lot in the past, and it's something that I'm very consistent with during the week. I don't use this every day necessarily, but I will use this at least three or four times per week in my morning skincare routine. I really love using this all over the face and my neck, but especially around the eyes when I am really puffy and holding a lot of water underneath the eyes and underneath that brow bone. If I have a lot of water retention, I will go in with the microcurrent and it really does the trick. It actually gets rid of the fluid, but at the same time it's lifting and firming the skin around the eyes and it's going to improve crow's feet, softening fine lines in time. If you have dark circles, this can be a device that can improve that and give more of that overall brightness. I don't have dark circles, but I can tell you that this does help to brighten the skin around the eyes, and when you're using it all over your face and your neck it's improving blood circulation. With the ZIIP Halo, this has both the microcurrent, which works at a muscular level, and the nanocurrent, which works at a cellular level. With these two technologies, you're going to get longer lasting results. This is why you don't have to use it every day. The results can last for up to two days, and then you can go back in and just do maintenance from there. I really like this because you see immediate results, but then the results do last for a couple of days."
5 SKINCARE MUST-HAVES THAT ACTUALLY FIRM SKIN AND MINIMIZES SIGNS OF AGING
"The nanocurrent technology in here gives you those longlasting results, and this is the one microcurrent device that I have used personally that actually gives longlasting results. It really does, and this is why the ZIIP Halo is my absolute favorite microcurrent device. [...] You can use it multiple different ways, not just [...] on the cheeks and jawline, you can actually use it on your lips. There are so many different techniques for different lifts and contours, but also to firm fine lines and wrinkles, and this really does help to soften fine lines. It can help to prevent, and it's just a wonderful microcurrent device. Of course, when you're using this you do need to use the microcurrent gel. When you purchase one there is a little gel that comes in the box, but it's not going to last too long."
13 BEST ANTI-AGING SKINCARE PRODUCTS 2024 | AGING BACKWARDS OVER 30 - THESE ACTUALLY WORK!
"Next is the ZIIP Halo 2.0 microcurrent device. I did recently talk about this during Black Friday, and this is one of my go-to devices in my morning skincare routine. This is a microcurrent device that helps to lift, contour, firm and tighten your skin, and the results are pretty much immediate. It is something that you will want to be consistent with, so whether you're using it every other day or every couple of days, if you want to use this every day then that's fine as well, but the results can last for up to 72 hours. So if you're someone that can't be dedicated and you don't really have the time to use this every day, then just use it every couple of days, because the results do last a good length of time, and it's a good way to stimulate your facial muscles, to get everything moving, to get that blood flow going. Microcurrent works at a muscular level, whereas the nanocurrent technology in here works at a cellular level, so the nanocurrent technology is what's going to give you that long lasting result, and this is phenomenal. There are so many ways you can use this. You can download the ZIIP Beauty app, which is completely free, and I like to use it starting from the center of my face and outward, and it does give this nice lift, this tighter look, and your skin glows afterwards because it's getting that blood flow."
6 ANTI-AGING SKINCARE PRODUCTS I'M LOVING FOR 2023 | THESE WORK AND I AM SO IMPRESSED!
"This has that nano current technology, and I truly do believe that this is what's helping give that long-term effect, so you may want to start using this every day to begin with and then you can just use it as maintenance after that, just a few times per week if that's what you want to do. But [...] four minutes out of your day, something that actually lifts and contours your skin, something to really help smooth out your face, I'm telling you this is amazing and I really really like it. [...] This is actually the bigger size conducting gel, but when you do purchase the ZIIP Halo it does come with a little mini microcurrent gel in the box, and you do charge this with a USB which of course comes with the box as well. [...] I do recommend this, and this is the perfect anti-aging device, I'm telling you right now."
MY MORNING ANTI-AGING SKINCARE ROUTINE - A.M. SUMMER SKINCARE ROUTINE USING VITAMIN C
"Two to three times per week I use the ZIIP Halo 2.0 microcurrent device. [...] When you first start using this you want to use it daily, and once you've been doing that for quite a while then you can drop it down to just a few times per week as maintenance, that's basically where I'm at right now. This is very similar to the NuFACE microcurrent device I used to talk about all the time on my channel, but I like this better and I think this performs a lot better as well from my experience with the two. It's smaller, it's not as heavy, it's more compact, you can easily travel with it, and it doesn't take as long to use, it's a quicker treatment. I just really love the lift and how your face looks contoured after the treatment. [...] I feel like it keeps the results going longer too, after you've done your treatment the results last for about a day or so and then you'd have to use it again to keep them going, so it's something you have to be consistent with, especially at the beginning, but then once you've been using it for a good length of time, two to three times per week."

"I have talked about the new Face Trinity many times in the past. This is pretty much the same, but I like it better because it's smaller, it's just easier and quicker to use, and I really really like this. So a couple of days a week I will use this, and once you're done, honestly, you have this nice lifted effect with your skin and it will last for the entire day, which is why I like using this in my morning routine because it just gives that nice lifted look, you look more awake and your skin looks more rejuvenated, as well as the microcurrent helps with blood circulation as well, which also can help with collagen production. So this is lovely."

"The ZIIP Halo 2.0 microcurrent device really is a great one to lift, contour your skin, and to firm your skin over time. I do like this one better than the NuFace Trinity, which I've talked about in the past. I have the one that comes with the interchangeable heads, I have the prong, I have the spheres, and I do like it, but to be honest with you, I haven't used it in a really long time since I started using this, because this is smaller, it's more compact, it's lighter. If you travel a lot, this is better to bring with you than the NuFace Trinity. If you have the NuFace Mini, yes, that one is smaller and that would be a lot easier to bring with you on your travels, but that one doesn't come with the interchangeable heads. I just feel like this one is better from my experience because this provides longer lasting results, and that's why I really like this one. This has the nanocurrent technology that works at a cellular level, and microcurrent works at a muscular level, so with consistency of using this it honestly does lift, contour, and firm the skin, and it can help to improve blood circulation, it can help to soften fine lines and wrinkles. It does it all."
MY ULTIMATE MORNING ANIT-AGING SKINCARE ROUTINE - A.M. ROUTINE USING PEPTIDES, GROWTH FACTORS & MORE
"Three to four times per week, I like to use the ZIIP Halo 2.0 microcurrent device. [...] This is something I really like to be consistent with because I love the results that I see with that more lifted, contoured look with my facial muscles. It's a great way to basically stimulate blood flow in the skin. It helps to train your facial muscles to tighten, to just lift and contour everything. You do see immediate results with this. After one use, you do see more of that lifted look, and the more consistent you are, the results last even longer. [...] I used to use the NuFace Trinity, and I still have it, but to be honest, I don't use it anymore. I like this better because it's smaller, it's lightweight, it's better for travel, better for storage, and the results last longer with the ZIIP Halo 2.0 over the NuFace Trinity, in my opinion and from my experience. [...] I really like this one because it has the microcurrent, but it also has the nanocurrent technology where it works at a cellular level, so you get those two wavelengths and it just makes a world of a difference. There are many ways that you can use this as well."
MY MORNING ANTI-AGING SKINCARE ROUTINE - SKINCARE OVER 30 (WINTER/SPRING SKINCARE ROUTINE)
"I really love my experience with the ZIIP Halo. [...] I used to use the NuFace Trinity, I still have it, I just don't use it anymore because I think this is a lot better. The results last longer with this in between treatments, and this is a lot smaller, lighter, and more compact, it's also quicker to use. There is a ZIIP Beauty app you can download that's completely free, with several step by step tutorials, and I learn something new every time I go on there. You can even treat your lips to give more plumpness and to address lip lines, there are so many ways you can use this. I generally start from the center of my face and outward, and it's a great way to lift the brow bone as well. I love it. I use this two to three days per week in my morning routine."

🔥BEST BLACK FRIDAY/CYBER MONDAY SKINCARE SALES 2025! MUST-HAVE ANTI-AGING PRODUCTS & MAJOR DISCOUNTS
"You guys know how much I love my Ziip Halo. This is a microcurrent device that will help to lift and contour your facial muscles. It gives more of a youthful lifted appearance to the skin the more consistent you are with it. The first thing that you will see when you first start using this is more of that lifted effect, and the results do last a decent length of time. But if you are a beginner and you're just starting out, you want to be a little bit more consistent at the very beginning to keep the results going, and then eventually those results will remain there and you can go further in between each treatment, so you might only want to use it twice a week or three days a week instead of every single day. But I love this and it really does give more of that lifted effect to the skin. It just contours everything. And this is no joke, this really performs and the results are unreal."
6 POWERFUL ANTI-AGING SKINCARE PRODUCTS TO LIFT, TIGHTEN, AND FIRM SKIN - SINCERELY MISS ASH
"This product does it all: wrinkles, brightness. Microcurrent does a very good job to tighten, lift, and firm the skin. It helps to stimulate new collagen, it helps to stimulate blood flow, it does smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. When you're consistent with it, it truly does it all. Microcurrent works at a muscular level, so it's like giving your facial muscles a little workout every time you're using this, so your facial muscles contract and they relax while you are gliding this across your face. There are different techniques and tutorials on how to use this, so you can use it freely if you know what you're doing, [...] or if you want different ways and techniques on how to use it, you can download the ZIIP Beauty app, which is completely free, and there are so many tutorials on there that you can follow. Some tutorials are four minutes, some are longer than that, so just pick and choose what you feel would benefit you. If you're someone that has facial puffiness, there's actually a tutorial using this to help eliminate that. I just learned something new every time I go on that app, I truly love it for that guidance. Microcurrent is amazing for signs of aging. This also has nanocurrent."

Skincare SPLURGES: what is really WORTH IT?!
"My favorite to this day is still the nanocurrent only treatment, the founder's favorite. You don't see results immediately because nanocurrent is quite different from microcurrent, the waveform is much finer, so if you're worried about it zapping you, you won't feel any zaps at all. It's the most gentle routine and yet with time you do see results. I have acne prone skin, and the problem solver treatment is still a wonderful and surprising way to help alleviate acne. I do that routine whenever I start breaking out, and it's amazing how much it helps reduce redness, calm down the area, and kill the bacteria contributing to the breakout. Because of this it works to treat active acne but also helps prevent it from appearing in the first place."

My 5 BEST Skincare Devices, Ranked by Results, Science, & Safety!
"My favorite microcurrent device is the Zip. It uses nanocurrent, and if you're at all nervous about current on your skin, their founder's favorite routine is gentle enough that anyone can handle it. But there are real pros and cons here. On the pro side, I've never found another microcurrent option with a routine built for acne, and I've never seen nanocurrent routines like this anywhere else. On the con side, this is a very active treatment, you have to keep gliding it across your skin the whole time you use it, and you pretty much have to load up an app every time, which I don't love. With nanocurrent being such a low level of current, you're not going to see immediate results, you really have to stay committed to it over a long time to see results. I use the golden gel with it, which is my favorite of all the gels I've tried, it stays on your skin and you don't have to keep reapplying it."
Speed Reviews! New Ziip, Quest for the Best Concealer, & More!
"I was on the fence about the new Ziip Halo at first because it costs less than the old version and I wondered if that meant it wouldn't be as good, but I actually think I like it more than the last version. It's pretty similar to the last generation, but what I like more is that they've increased the vibrations and made the beep louder, so you don't lose track of where you are in the routine like I used to with the old version. My favorite Ziip routine is the founder's favorite, their nanocurrent routine, it's not instant gratification but it does so much for my skin, you just see the results the next day or the day after."

"I have tried a number of different microcurrent devices, I own quite a few in fact, but this is my favorite. Not only do I like the tech, but I find it's actually fun to use, which is why it works because I stick with it. I use this every other day pretty much religiously and I think it's incredible. Not only does it have microcurrent, which gives sort of an immediate lift and tone, but it also contains nanocurrent, and this is working at a cellular level to renew and to repair our skin. No other device offers this. Plus the app is super easy to use, it has tailored programs to tackle individual skin concerns like lifting or reducing wrinkles or calming inflammation. You just don't have to think at all, you just follow along. It's absolutely fantastic."

"What I've noticed with this particular device, they call it the ZIIP Halo effect, which is just an overall brightening of the skin after 30 day use. I've seen this for myself. [...] There's something about this device and the way that you maneuver it around your skin that makes it super easy to use. [...] This product being much easier to use has made me use it more, and if it's helping me use microcurrent more, I'm sure it's helping other people as well. Which is why when I decided to do a microcurrent giveaway, I asked ZIIP, because I figured with my clientele they'd be more likely to incorporate something like this on a regular basis. [...] I did a side by side before with the NuFace and the MyLift Mini and this one won."

"I love this because it just is ergonomically so friendly, which is a good thing to have in a microcurrent device, right? If I'm sitting in my red light therapy chair, I did this the other day. I did a whole treatment of microcurrent, which I'm doing now as I'm speaking to you, while I was sitting here in red light therapy. I don't need to look in the mirror, it's not very complicated. The ZIIP Halo 2.0 is FDA cleared. It makes sense, it's adding a little bit of electrical energy into the skin cells, it does help with collagen production. It's not like a big giant, big guns type of at-home gadget, but when used consistently I love microcurrent for that reason. If you're looking to get like a little bit of just an overall boost in your skin health, that's what this is for. If you're looking to get a little bit of a lift, that's what this is for. So you do this slowly and you hold it up at the highest part, you let it do that little buzz, and then you go to the next thing and you lift, lift."

"I brought the ZIIP Halo. This is another microcurrent device that I really love, and I can tell a difference in my skin when I use this. I like this microcurrent device because it's so easy to travel with. It comes with an app and all that, but you don't really have to use that, you can literally just use this throughout your whole skin. It energizes the skin and I can really kind of tell a difference with this, so I'm loving this as well. I use it a couple of times a week according to my schedule."

"Of all the microcurrent devices, this is by far my favorite. [...] It is still my favorite, but it just happens to be a giveaway and is worth $350."
Are you a midlife woman and feeling like you don’t have time for all these at-home skincare gadgets?
"This is the ZIIP Halo. I love this because it fits in the palm of your hand, it's super easy to use. After I take my cold plunge and I stand there with my red light therapy panels, [...] I have my conductive gel over there and I'm doing a little bit of ZIIP microcurrent while I'm drying off and getting red light therapy, so it doesn't take me any more time than it does to stand there for 20 minutes with my red light therapy panels. This ZIIP is a combination of microcurrent, which works on the muscles, and nano, which works on the energy in the cell. They claim that after 30 days of using it every day you get this halo effect, which is bright shiny skin, and I can tell you it's true, it actually does work, I love it. I want to say it works a lot [...] for lymphatic drainage. [...] It's so easy to use. [...] You use a conductive gel with this, if you get something like this and it's not working, it's because you don't have conductive gel. It needs conductive gel, you can even use like an oil based one."
⚡️Microcurrent is a low-level electrical current that mimics the body's natural current
"If I'm going to do this one, which is the ZIIP Halo 2.0, I love this because it's very easy to handle and it's ergonomically designed well, it just fits in your palm. I like this, but you're not going to get as good of a treatment as you would when you're doing something like a two probe system with a pinch and hold technique, because this one you're using a press and hold. It's a good device, don't throw it away. Another reason why I like this device is because you can tell when you have conductivity. You see this line how it's blinking, that shows I don't have conductivity, so either the devices aren't on my skin or I don't have enough conductive gel. Now look what happens when I put both of these probes on my skin, you see how I have conductivity."

"Right now the ZIIP Halo 2.0 microcurrent device is on sale, 20% off, and all the gels are 30% off."
Confused about which at-home skincare gadgets actually work?
"I've been using ZIIP for a while, and ZIIP makes a really good conductive gel. [...] It's a great little tool, and the way it works is it's just a combination of microcurrent and..."

"The interesting thing about the ZIIP Halo 2.0 is that it's a microcurrent, so you're getting a lift mixed with a nano that is increasing ATP in the cell. It's energizing the cell, and one of the things that happens as we age [...] is that your cells themselves have less ATP production. So this not only helps with that lift and lymphatic drainage, but by doing this microcurrent, no matter what microcurrent device you use, it absolutely is helping with lymphatic drainage. Now the one thing you want to be careful of is if you're somebody that gets Botox, you don't want to use a microcurrent device around the areas where you get Botox because it's going to diminish the effects of the Botox. You put in a neurotoxin to stop the dynamic muscles from contracting, and in doing that you've softened that look, but this is literally exercising those muscles that you have paralyzed."

"I also like the ZIIP Halo 2.0, in terms of the ergonomic design of that. It's a really good travel device because it fits really nicely in the palm of your hand, and it's microcurrent. So [...] I do like the ZIIP. It's not my favorite, but it is something that I like just to travel with, or just walking around the house getting my tea, sometimes I'll just be doing a little microcurrent while I'm doing that."
