I used the Omnilux for years and was even a rep for them, but they combine their red and near infrared light, so if you suffer from melasma you need to be careful. It is also so thick and uncomfortable compared to the thin mask I use now.
Darnell Cox | 50+ Healthy Aging Expert: Nay vs gurus 64% Yay
I had Renuvion done on my stomach, a subdermal radiofrequency treatment combined with cold helium gas that they insert under the skin through an incision and heat from the inside out. I still have a scar from being burned when I tried it. They are getting much better at it now, but I have seen and heard horror stories of people being burned from this treatment, so it is something to be very aware of.
Darnell Cox | 50+ Healthy Aging Expert: Nay vs gurus 65% Yay
You know, Nutrafol is that hair vitamin. It did nothing for me. Zero. Why? Because my problem wasn't nutrition. My nutrition is spot on. So if you're taking Nutrafol and it's doing nothing, stop taking it. That's not your issue.
Darnell Cox | 50+ Healthy Aging Expert: Nay vs gurus 81% Yay
It decreases dandruff, it actually reinforces the role of sebum and it disrupts some of the fungal growth, but the side effect is dry brittle hair. I would say my hair turned to straw and that broke my hair off and has had me start all over again. [...] I will never use it again because it broke my hair off. If you've got fine fragile dry hair in addition to hair loss, don't do it. Use more of a caffeine solution or [...] rosemary instead.

"These are the VT Reedle Shots, made famous by VT. I'm loving them. What's inside is naturally occurring in sponges in the sea, and when you rub it in it creates little micro channels so that any skincare you put over the top soaks in better, almost like a mini micro needling session. A 100 shot you can use daily, a 300 about three times a week, and a 700 once a week."

"I love this peptide. This is by COSRX, a six peptide skin booster. It evens skin tone, hydrates, helps with firmness and smoothness, pore and sebum care, and improves skin texture. It has [...] a copper peptide in it, [...] signaling peptides, and acetyl hexapeptide-8, so it smooths fine lines, and it's so cheap [...] I've got like six of them in the refrigerator because I use them over everything. [...] I am literally seeing a huge difference just from using this on my body every night."

This is not expensive, you guys, and now they made it in a 4 oz bottle. It's very, very watery, so this is what it looks like, I mean it's literally like water. "The less irritating of all of those is mandelic acid and that's for really sensitive skin. [...] I'll oftentimes use this if I'm going to peel my chest and my neck because the skin on your neck is different than the skin on your face. "I love both of these devices. Again, you can comment the word microcurrent. It'll get you to Darnell's all-time favorite devices, and you'll see that they're both on here. Why? Because I have both of them and I use both of them. It just depends on what is the right one for you, right? So the heaviness of this versus a light thing that you can do kind of on the go, totally up to you. And I have no skin in the game. There's a link for both of them."

[...] My husband started using it for a long time and it had great results for him, but then he saw that the fat around my eyes got dissolved from an IPL treatment I had in the office for dry eyes, and we both kind of backed away from intense heat products at home, because you do run the risk of it being worse than when you started."

"This is a prescription strength Retin-A, it's tretinoin, it's a 0.05 percent. If you put this on your eyes on this skin it's going to eat it up like battery acid. So if you're dealing with fine lines and wrinkles, a way that you can still use your prescription strength retinoid is that you can add a little bit of a barrier, so you could add like a nightly moisturizer. You would do your tretinoin around your face, avoid the eyes, put a moisturizer on it first. It gives a little bit of a barrier."
