The snail mucin, which I have never been into. I did try it once, didn't love it, but people seem to love it.
HotandFlashy: Nay vs gurus 64% Yay
The other makeup fail was the E.L.F. Soft Glam Concealer. If you have dry skin, please don't try this, it made my under eyes look like the desert by the end of the day and gave me extra wrinkles that I usually don't see using my normal concealer. Epic fail on this. Maybe if you have super oily skin, super oily under eyes, this would work for you, because the coverage was there and the coverage did stay, but it just accentuated every wrinkle and really dried out my skin.
HotandFlashy: Nay vs gurus 71% Yay
It blended out really nicely, nice and smooth, a little bit brightening, definitely covered up my bluey pinky under eyes. But the under eye concealer I'm not in love with either. For most of the day I thought it looked okay, it was still in place, but I did feel like the skin under my eyes looked extra dry and extra wrinkly, and now it is very worn off at the inner corners. It does look very dry, very crepey. Can save your money on that one as well.
HotandFlashy: Nay vs gurus 66% Yay
This foundation, it's not funny, because I'm sure they were trying to make a good product, but this looks terrible already, terrible. It settled in every wrinkle on my face, and it just looks heavy, waxy, makeupy. [...] Today is almost a complete fail, [...] just save your money on this. I was really, really disappointed in this foundation. It just felt like foundation sitting on the surface of my skin all day, and I didn't really think it did anything for me.

"The Dermatology Physical Tinted Moisturizer SPF 44 is a fantastic facial sunscreen for people with dry skin especially. It's tinted, so you can just put it on and go. You can use it as your everyday makeup base. You don't have to put on foundation with it. [...] It will just even out your skin tone, but it's so hydrating and so soothing."

"This one from CeraVe is going to be the least expensive. This is a drugstore product. It comes in a couple of different shades. I think it comes in three shades. On me, it tends to stay a little bit damp feeling, a little bit oily feeling. It doesn't absorb in as well as it will for people with drier skin, but I have a friend with super dry skin who uses this every day as her everyday like go-to no makeup makeup look, and it looks beautiful on her skin. It doesn't feel wet or oily."

"This sunscreen is perfect for all my different skin types. It doesn't make me feel dry, it doesn't make me get super oily. It's just perfection in a sunscreen. [...] It gives you a beautiful skin-like look that is very sheer. It won't settle in your wrinkles. It's just gorgeous."

"It has a PA++++ rating, which means it's the highest UVA protection. This is the first sunscreen I've ever tried that I could put on my face and not have to do anything else, [...] just go about my day without looking weird. With every other sunscreen I've tried it's either a white cast, the tint doesn't match me, it's super shiny, it makes my pores look huge, it feels super greasy, I need to powder it or put makeup over it."

I keep this next to my front door and sunscreen up my hands every time I'm going out to walk my dog. It's so convenient because you always forget to do your hands, and I can just do my chest, my neck, my face. Great little sunscreen, very lightweight, fragrance-free, really terrific."

"This is their Invisible Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50. This uses a new type of zinc oxide that is more sheer on the skin. So this isn't tinted on me. It gives the tiniest white cast that really I don't have to put any makeup on over it. Of course if you have darker skin tone than me it's going to give you a little bit of white cast but is the best as far as not giving a white cast of any mineral sunscreen that's white that I've tried so far."

"Merit's the Uniform Sunscreen is an SPF 45, and it comes in a bunch of different shades. It has 15% zinc oxide. I'm wearing the shade 22. [...] If you're looking for a great mineral sunscreen and you like to use one just as a standalone, you don't want to put makeup on top of it, this is awesome."

"At the 8-hour check-in, I thought it was very worn off on my nose, my chin, my cheeks, above my eyebrows, was shiny in my T-zone. It was giving me speckly polka dot pores on my cheeks and on my chin. So, this definitely shortens the wear of foundation, but it didn't feel drying to wear throughout the day. So, as a standalone sunscreen, I would give this one a four out of five. As a sunscreen to wear under makeup, I'm going to give it a three out of five."

"As a standalone sunscreen, I'm giving this a three out of five because it was so drying throughout the day. The foundation was very worn off everywhere and it felt so drying throughout the day. Throughout the day, I thought my skin looked very textured every time I saw myself and it was modeled on my forehead and giving polka dot pores everywhere else."

"This is a tinted runny liquid that feels like a lightweight lotion. It rubs in easily, but it only comes in one shade, which is way too warm and too dark for me. And it goes on very splotchy and very unevenly. [...] But aside from the color, the other reason that I can't recommend this one is because it never dries back after 20 minutes. It is just coming off on everything. So, this one got a zero out of five for me as a standalone sunscreen."

"This is a white medium-weight lotion that feels nice going on, but has a very strong white cast. It sticks to hair and it immediately settles into every wrinkle, especially neck wrinkles. This is not wearable on its own for me. I give it a zero out of five as a standalone sunscreen."

"So I didn't think it looked terrible, but I did notice that it had been coming off under my nails all day long. And it was getting a little bit shiny, but also felt so very drying throughout the day that I really couldn't wait to wash my face. I really can't fully recommend it to people with dry skin. I'm going to give it three out of five for a standalone sunscreen and two out of five for how it did with makeup."

"By the time I got the second layer on, very strong white cast, clings to hair, is not good around the hairline, gets all tangled up in your eyebrows, and it just doesn't rub in very well. With all the sunscreens, I do give them 20 minutes to dry back and set to see if the white cast will settle in or if the greasy feeling will go away. This one, after 20 minutes, it didn't change at all. So, as a standalone sunscreen, I gave this zero out of five stars."

"It's their mineral glow screen. It's a little bit paler than the Kopari and it gives more of a kind of a highlighter look. Once this is dry and set, it really feels great on the skin. It reflects light in such a beautiful way, but it almost acts like makeup primer. This is so good under makeup. And if you want your makeup to be extra glowy and just have that extra lit from within glow look to it, this is a really great sunscreen to try."

"Putting this on at an eighth of a teaspoon, I really thought it looked great. There weren't any problems with rubbing it in anywhere. It covered my entire face. And it feels really, really nice. It doesn't feel heavy. It doesn't feel greasy. The pigments don't look heavy. It doesn't look like a mask of makeup, and it looks still very sheer, but yet it evens out my skin tone, covers up my redness, makes my skin look better than it is, and I like the finish on it as well. It's not super shiny."

"It really burned my face, which I wasn't happy about because I was so psyched about it. And it's also not water resistant. So this is a runny tinted liquid. It feels lovely going on like a lightweight oil or serum. It has a wet yet powdery feel to it. It blends well around hair and eyebrows. The finish is softly dewy but not shiny. The tint is a good match for me and it evens out my skin tone and looks really natural. I did put makeup on over this one."

"So it's only $3.79 an ounce. It contains 10% zinc oxide, 8% titanium dioxide. It does contain sunscreen booster salicylate. This is fragrance-free and it's 80 minutes water resistance. This is a white thick lotion. It goes on feeling super heavy, super greasy, and it has a really strong white cast that doesn't dissipate even after 20 to 30 minutes of dryback. And I'm putting dryback in air quotes because this never dries back. It stays greasy feeling. I gave it a zero out of five as a sunscreen."

"It feels pretty thick going on, but not wet or greasy. It feels more dryish, and it spreads easily. Even though it's thick, it feels lightweight on the skin, and the tint hides any white cast, but doesn't color the skin or even out the skin tone. The finish is velvety, but not a flat matte. It looked okay, but it settled into wrinkles right away everywhere, including neck wrinkles. So, as a standalone sunscreen, I gave it a two out of five."

"It feels wet and oily going on. It rubs in easily, but the pigments don't spread that evenly, leaving tiny like specks all over my face. You can only see them if you're looking at me super up close, but I'm looking at it in my 10x mirror, and I don't want speckles all over my face. So I was hoping that this would be better, especially for the price. And it has a very very shiny finish. After 20 minutes of dryback, it looked and felt the same. It does have a little bit of a soft luminosity, but nothing like super duper shiny. It blends in really, really nicely. I'm not sure that the green tint really did anything as far as reducing the redness like I feel like you still see the redness here."

"It's not really so much a foundation as it is a tinted serum. This is beautiful, it's lightweight and fluid and it just glides over the skin. It blends like a dream. I've worn it over three or four different sunscreens and it's worked perfectly with each of them. The shade match is dead on for me. It does have a fairly luminous finish to it but it's not a super hard shine, it's a very forgiving shine."

"This is a fantastic all-around sunscreen, one of the very few that you can wear to the beach, to the pool, doing your sports, and also every day with your makeup on over the top. It is a beautiful sunscreen that acts primer-like under makeup. "This is a pink lotion that feels lightweight but wet and oily going on. It doesn't rub in well or sit well on the skin. It balls and pills with skin care and it does leave a slight white cast. First time I tried it I was in Charleston South Carolina and it was humid and this didn't dry or set, it stayed really really wet feeling, it had a really super strong shine and a little bit of a white cast. However, I did have some pilling on my eyelids and to the sides of my eyes, and it peels up a little bit in the eyebrows. "However, the finish is very very shiny and my face felt really oily and really greasy. The tint is slightly dark for me and it's too shiny for me to wear it on its own, but for people with super dry skin I think you might like this, because drier people tend to like things that I find to be too shiny and too greasy feeling. "It does have a pretty luminous finish for me, so I would have to put on something to kind of take down the shine. I wore this for a few days just to test it and see if it would irritate my skin. I didn't have a ton of irritation from it. I can't say if that would be the case if I used it long term, but I put it on for like three or four days straight and I thought that it was fine. "This is another tinted sunscreen that I had tried a couple of years ago. I kind of like this one but not for my face. This one is also kind of shiny and oily, but I use it on my chest and my neck more because I was liking to save the elements for my face. [...] I probably won't repurchase this one, but if you have dry your skin and you're using Elta MD UV elements and you find that one drying, this one is a lot more hydrating, so you might want to give the restore a try."

"This doesn't feel completely dry—it does feel a little bit tacky. [...] The color is a little bit too orange for me, a little bit too warm, and it is a little bit too luminous. If I was going to wear it on its own, I would probably put a little bit of powder on over it. [...] Of course, it is an SPF of 36, which for me is a little on the low side. But you know, as long as you use the full quarter teaspoon of it, then you're getting that 36."

"This is really like the best eyeshadow palette for people who go for a nice natural look because look at all those different shades of just natural muted skin tones that are going to look great on your eyes. And the nice part about it is that you know how I complain about the palettes that none has that perfect mid-tone matte? Well this has quite a few of them. It's perfect for making anything from a basic eye look all the way up to a really smoked out look."

And if you're a contact lens wearer like I am, it doesn't get all over your contact lenses, you can see perfectly with these eyeliners. So many other high-end eyeliners just aren't as good. I put them on, they're all over my face, smudged by the end of the day, they're all over my contacts. These never do any of that and that's why they're my favorites."

I really like this one because the brush is so fine. "This is like the perfect mascara for me. It makes my lashes look long and silky. It's easy to apply and it's also easy to remove. This is a tubing mascara and so it never has clumps. This does go on a little bit wet but once it dries it is in place. I just couldn't wait to take it off by the end of the day. It was slightly better on day two because of the sunscreen, but other than that it was still kind of a disaster for me. "This is longer wearing, gives you better coverage, looks better on your skin, and is more hydrating, so it's a great foundation for mature skin because it doesn't settle into your wrinkles and it doesn't dry out your skin. It sits so beautifully on the skin, it covers what you want to cover but it looks natural and skin-like. "The E.L.F. Camo Liquid Blush is a beautiful blush. It's very, very pigmented, so you got to be careful when applying it. You have to always apply to the back of your hand first and just pick up a little bit from there and then apply it to your skin. You don't want to ever go in right with the doe foot, but it looks gorgeous on the skin. [...] I would say that this is fairly similar to the Rare Beauty blushes."

It's got shea butter, it's got avocado oil, it's got primrose oil, so it is gonna be hydrating. My skin wasn't any different using this, but it also wasn't any worse. Unfortunately, you don't get to know how much of each thing is in there, but the niacinamide is listed fairly high on the ingredient list. This is retinaldehyde it's so much better than using retinol because retinol is two steps removed from your skin being able to use it. So, your skin only has to do one conversion with this, so it's much more likely that you'll be getting more retinoid to your skin cells that need it and can use it by using this than by using a standard over-the-counter retinol."

"The other makeup fail was the E.L.F. Soft Glam Concealer. If you have dry skin, please don't try this, it made my under eyes look like the desert by the end of the day and gave me extra wrinkles that I usually don't see using my normal concealer. Epic fail on this. Maybe if you have super oily skin, super oily under eyes, this would work for you, because the coverage was there and the coverage did stay, but it just accentuated every wrinkle and really dried out my skin."

"It blended out really nicely, nice and smooth, a little bit brightening, definitely covered up my bluey pinky under eyes. But the under eye concealer I'm not in love with either. For most of the day I thought it looked okay, it was still in place, but I did feel like the skin under my eyes looked extra dry and extra wrinkly, and now it is very worn off at the inner corners. It does look very dry, very crepey. Can save your money on that one as well."

It went on so smoothly, but by the time I came back for the 5-hour check-in, it was super creased at the inner corner and also in all the smaller wrinkles below my eyes. The coverage is still in place. It hasn't worn off at all, but it definitely settles in wrinkles. So if you have wrinkling under your eyes, this is going to accentuate it. It didn't do nearly as good a job as the cleansing balm, but what I do like it for is the days where I'm not wearing any makeup except for sunscreen. I don't even put on mascara, I just put on my tinted sunscreen and I go, but I do still need to remove my sunscreen at night. This was really nice for that. It's kind of a gel to oil cleanser, so when you first squirt it out it's just this really pretty clear pink gel."

I was kind of psyched about this but I was also a little bit nervous about it because it does contain coconut derived surfactants and all the cleansers that have like the coconut derived surfactants don't agree with my skin they make my skin feel dry and tight.
