What the gurus are saying

This cleanser melts into a silky lather with just a small amount, leaving skin clean, soft, and hydrated without stripping or tightness. The rice brings calming and anti-inflammatory benefits, and the jar format sidesteps the mess of traditional bar cleansers, though the texture can feel a bit clumpy as you work the product into a lather. It's particularly well-suited to those who love Korean skincare actives but prefer a pared-back aesthetic, and the generous amount of product means it lasts months.

"I've wanted to try some of their products before, but I believe their cleanser is just a little bit too harsh from an ingredient perspective for me to feel comfortable using."

"Both the pot and tube versions of this cleanser are bad to me. The texture is unique, rubbery and claylike, but there are tons of reviews saying it flipped people's skin, even non-sensitive skin. If it gets in your eyes it is so painful, honestly it's shockingly bad. With regular use it can damage your skin barrier, so even for oily skin you should only use it on the nose or just finish it off on your body. It's drying with a harsher particle, so save your money."

"It's just a beautiful, beautiful product. Great for winter if you're looking for something a little bit more on the hydrating side in terms of your cleanser. You get a vat of product. This will last me, I've just bought two, [...] I'm about halfway through one, so I've got two and that'll see me through another 12 months because I use such a little amount of this and it works. It [...] has the rice that's anti-inflammatory, it's calming and soothing. It's just so so good."

"You get a little scoop here, which I'm quite impressed with myself. Normally I use lose these on the first use, but still going strong. And you get a scoop so you don't have to put your fingers in here. [...] Also super inexpensive for the amount of product you get. This is one of my favorites. [...] It's just a great skincare line, but this cleanser definitely a little unsung hero in the Korean skincare market."
BESTSELLING KOREAN SKINCARE 2025 - Korean Skincare World Rankings
"Look how much product you get. [...] 120 grams, so you get 120 grams which is a huge amount of product and it doesn't break the bank. If you like your products to look just bougie without breaking the bank and you want something that you can use as a mask and a cleanser, let this be it. I absolutely love this. This is probably my favorite. After these two are my absolute favorites of these top 10 bestsellers."

"This cleanser was super fun, remember when it went viral this year. It was kind of a short lived virality, a fun product, but you don't necessarily need your product to be fun, and you're paying a price for fun."

"It works up into that silky lather, it's just a really fun product to use. You don't need very much to get a nice lather, which is another thing I really like about it. It allows you to get a more conservative amount of cleanser worked up into your hands. You can also use it to wash your hands. It's a great hand wash. It rinses off the skin well [...] and leaves the skin clean but soft, hydrated, and not feeling stripped or tight or that squeaky clean feeling."

"So I've been enjoying that I will say it's a little bit kind of a little bit clumpy as you're trying to work it into a ladder but once it gets going it's good"

"I've been using this lately as a second step in the double cleanse. It's basically a cleansing bar in a jar and you take these little cleansing bar scoop nuggets out, work them up into a lather in your hand. It's been kind of fun to use, a little odd because it's a little bit clumpy as you're trying to work that lather. [...] I really like this concept of having it in a jar. I hate the sliminess of a bar of a cleansing bar all over the place, which is why I don't use bar cleansers that much."
