What the gurus are saying

At €70-$80, this emulsion strikes experts as seriously overpriced for ingredients that are essentially just grapefruit water, glycerin, and basic plant extracts that cost mere pennies to produce. The centella and sunflower seed oil would make it quite pleasant for dry skin, though the fragrance means anyone sensitive to scent should definitely patch-test first before committing to regular use.

"This Cleansing Emulsion is actually a decent cleanser with antioxidants, but it's not worth €70. [...] You can get something like this for $10. The main ingredients are just grapefruit water, regular water, glycerin, and various plant extracts that cost pennies. I don't understand why they're charging this kind of money for ingredients that are this inexpensive."

"The Cleansing Emulsion, like the cream, has fragrance, and it has centella and sunflower seed oil. Sounds like it might be a very nice mild cream cleanser for dry skin. But it's coming in at $80, which is just absurd, and I will not be buying it."
